I think the truth is that -as i tested it- you always have the key to that door,

If you open the door you may loose control but if you don`t , you will still the COMMANDER.

And that gives the meaning of free selection which was given to us by God, In other words that is why we are responsible for our deeds also you are the only one he faces any advanced consequence of your earlier decisions. That`s what i know about first question.

The second question i guess the answer is yes but you need first to precisely define the one you need as friend or as a person you will participate your coming life with.

You usually like some characteristics and concerns so that you must look for someone who have somethings in common with your interests like thought method, habits, education level, amount of beauty and so on.

Then when you meet that person just open the door and it will automatically continue.
