Who and What Inspires You?

Mother Theresa inspires me so much and also things like music, good books and nature are a driving force in my life. So, who and what inspires you?

  • Hi dear Nafis,

Such a nice topic. I love your inspirations; esp Mother Nature!

Well, actually, I am a young lady who is easily influenced by words, great thoughts, thoughtful thoughts, the whole nature- esp. when I am silently listening to the chanting of sparrows. I am easily touched by seeing or reading about a simple act of kindness. So all what can touch my heart easily, can be a source of inspiration for me.

Well, I want to say that Mrs. Tara Benwell is truly ans inspiration for me; she is kind, sharing, a nice mom, energetic, and  the most important aspect for me is that she is such a great writer with a lovely, friendly style in writing. I am not exaggerating at all; when I started to participate in her writing challenges, I came to know all these.

Nafis, you are yourself an inspiration for me; you are so hopeful, energetic, knowledgeable, kindhearted,...lady; moreover, you are an artist; I love your paintings.

My dad and father-in-law are also two other source of inspiration for me; they are so experience in life and they have a thick book to say about their lives; even they have had adventures. They have traveled around the country and they know a lot.

Two of my professors at university are also my source of inspiration; they are such hardworking and hopeful  men. One of them is old, full of experience, and it is obvious that he had tried so so so hard to be the one he is now. The other one is young, full of energy, yet so much experienced. Not only they are successful in their fields of studies, but also they are two great human beings. So determined, disciplined, kind, and knowledgeable in other aspects of life as well of their branch of studies.

My husband is also a source of inspiration for me. He does the task  he is up to with love and determination; even if it is a simple task he has to do. His joy and hard work for learning about sth he needs to know, is interesting to me.

    • Wow! Dear Donny, that's great. I also love him too and as you said, particularly the way he lived his life. He was very knowledgeable but very humble. Thanks a lot for your nice comment.

  • Hi Nafis,

I would say Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II are some of my inspirations (aside from my father). Lady Di epitomized glamour for a cause. She used her status to help children who were victims of malnutrition and land mines in Africa while The Pope united Muslims and Catholics through his delegations. But I admired him most when He visited my country and celebrated World Youth Day here. It was one of my memorable experiences of my life because I was a part of that celebration....

    Thanks for opening this topic!
