I am little bit confused ..You know, I have come across many times videos on Youtube or pictures of muslim girls with covered hair BUT with heavy layer of make up. I mean they post tutorials etc. and I really wonder where is the logic as their hair is covered but face is hidden under the layers of make up, which like we all know make women look better..
What is your opinion? Is it ok to cover hair but to put on such heavy layer of make up including red lipstick etc.? How does it go together? Plz... enlighten me ;)

Some people are authoritarian and impolite and they sometimes want to know things about the culture of other people. They are in fact, in favour of enforcing people to change because they think they need to follow a rigid set of rules in which they have no voice.A set of code of conduct is usually an absolute standard , which is motivated by religious considerations and also personal decisions. We need to respect all people in the world , because each one has its correct code of conduct .

Another thing, are we looking for coherence and consistency here like when you wear modest clothes tantamount to show that you are modest and you should possess that in your whole being~~well, yes! I thougth the Quran, same as I've read in the Bible, said that women and guys have to dress modestly... But if you say that it mentions the women's hair as something that has to be covered, okay... you must know better. But I find very interesting how Catholics and Muslims seem to have the same rule but is interpreted in diff ways (just nuns cover their hair, but nowadays even many of them dress without any 'uniform')

Everyone has their own opinions and ideas of what beauty is. Everyone has their own ways to make themselves happier in their life. Life is a gift from God. We can't judge someone by its cover. if we do, it looks like a stubborn people. For instance, a girl wear a mini skirt and put heavy layer of make up, we can't say that she's a prostitude. If u want to see traditional muslim girls who never use make up on their face, u can find out in remote area. They even dunno what mascara or make up tools. ;)

Before being accused to be an intolerant islamophobic fascist or something similar as well, I'd like to say some things here.
David, "no offense" but you came here just like one week ago, you're being active and nice and we're super happy and all. You've let us know in different comments how awesome is your 'life's resumé', how you help orphans, how you have travelled a lot, you've been in Palestine etc, and that's cool, ofc... Here we even have members (some are friends of mine) from Palestine and Syria who haven't talked about their situation as much as you have done here in just few days... You're definitely our "human being of the month", I give you that. But still, you're a newcomer here and you don't about us, you don't know about Luci just for this discussion and you don't know how many times we have had heated arguments here... But is not that the good thing about freedom? (btw, you aren't the first one posting that topic)
Luci likes to "shake" ppl here sometimes, yes. And I like that, even if sometimes we've had our arguments too. I've done the same sometimes too, and I can tell that most of the members here are just really active when you have a 'controversial' topic, or when you 'provoke' them and shake their minds a lil bit. I've learnt that people just tell you what they truly think about something when you 'piss them off' a lil bit. Then is when people talk and share their opinions without the stupid filter of the political correctness (another thing that I hate btw) Twisted method? Maybe. Effective? Always.
I wanna tell with this that you're also gonna see me 'teasing' people and arguing about religion here a lot. My opinion about Islam is similar to the one who people like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens have, and I also think that "Religion is the opium of the people"... I'd even say 'a cancer'. And btw, talkin' about 'freedom', I'm gonna defend my right to say that 'religion is a cancer' as much as I'm gonna defend the right of a religious person to say that atheists will burn in hell.
I don't care if someone believes in God, Saints, the Holy Spirit, Fairies or anything they want. I'm always gonna respect that: the beliefs. But I'm sorry... I NEVER gonna respect the doctrine of religions, and that's why i made fun in my first comment. I can't respect it. I can't respect something that it was made to manipulate and control people, to abuse, to kill... Just the symbol of the cross have killed and abused of more people than most of the political symbols altogether... How am I gonna respect that? Is like if you ask me to respect the swastika. I can't, and I don't care the 'label' that anybody puts me on for that.
So yes, you're gonna see me here arguin and disagreeing a lot with people talkin' about religion. Actually I LOVE the topic. And I'm gonna keep being as much 'politically incorrect' or erm... as you say 'islamophobic' as Luci is about religion's nonsense rules. And even if i don't like to talk about my private stuff, I'd make clear that I'm atheist but former Catholic, all my family is Catholic, most of my friends are Catholic, I've many muslim friends, some female friends who wear hijab and some who don't and I even had a muslim bf once... But yeah, I'm pretty much intolerant with religion too.
