for me, this is a ideal topic. Polluted environment or global warming is one of the persistent problems for all the country in the world. So, what do we should do to protect environment around us.
In the first place, we should do from the smallest things such as: planting gree trees, cleaning the house or throwing garbage into trash.
Secondly, the gorvernment should raise the public's awaress of pollution so that everyone knows how environment plays an important role in their life. Besides, the government also should give the appropriate punishment to deter people and businesses. Now in many country all over the world such as Viet Nam, a lot of people still keep the habbits of throwing domestic waste into the river.
at first i have to say we should exchange our source of energy with new source of energy i mean energies which are green like wind,water,fusion,...and it is possible by improving our country's technology, although it should be inside of improving our culture to know how use these energies and don't waste them.
I suppose ways to protect the environment are obvious,but the thing is more important is to utilize them.
I started from my self and then my family.
I think if every one do this job we will have a society which all of them protect the environment.

Earth Day is coming soon! We, human people, we don't even think about how to protect our environment. We still destroy it. Climate chnage becomes a serious problem and even we spend a lot of fund to protect the planet we live, it depends on each other , every country where people live in it. Why we still carry on producing chemical product or this may bring about dangerous effect on us. human wants to challenge but it serves nothing for human life.

When my kids were very young, we always participate in Earth Hour in my house. However, in recent years, I've been away at the annual TESOL conference. It always seems to fall on Earth Hour. Sometimes the hotel does participate in Earth Hour.
This year we did participate in National Sweater Day, though. We turned our thermostats down three degrees (brrr - It was freezing.) and put on a warm sweater.
