Let me say that I think when we aren't in a society where people aren't speak in the language that we are learning, it needs to study the grammar certainly.
But if we have opportunity to be among people who are speaking in that language it isn't necessary at all. Because the grammar is in the heart of their speaking. Of course, I mean the place where have native speakers and we are touching with them everywhere that we go.

In my language school too, many languages are taught there and they always teach grammar first then speaking in all languages.
