Hello, my friends!
I decided to make a discussion about the stories of animals that you real saw in your life, not in the zoo, only in real live. On English Club there are many people from all the world, and I am sure they saw very different animals and can write interesting stories about those meetings.
My first story about beaver.
When I studied in school, I was in tourism club. And during my school I often went to hike with other tourism club members. One day we went to rafting down the forest river in boats and koyaks. The river was very narrow and had many turns. During our raft sometimes we met forest debris right in the middle of the river. It was dam that beavers like to make. We didn`t like this dam because we should stop raft and carry our boats and koyaks along the river-bank.Than we continued our raft before the next dam. Frankly, after something dams and carrying over our boats and koyaks (it was very hard) we didn`t like beavers. Anyway, we continued our travel, and than after one of something turn of the river I saw the tree lying across the river in one meter from the surface of water. The big beaver sat on the middle of tree. It didn`t see us, it was turning back to us. Its big tail hanging down in the water. I never saw beaver before, but I looked it was terrible huge. We took out paddles and didn`t speak and noise. The flow of the river slowly brought our boat to the beaver. Slowly I stood up and was ready to lend my hand and touch the beaver`s tail. But two meters before beaver it, perhaps, felt us and turn his head. At this moment it looked in my eyes and I looked its. On second it turned from us and jump in the water with big splash. Our boat shake from big waves. It was a greate and beautiful beaver, and after that happen I like beavers.

I never meet with such a cute animal in real life except for cat and dog, so don't have any story to share you but I have seen some brutal animals residing inside the human.
Cute and cool picture! Beavers remind me the Groundhog Day haha...
I like this topic: Animals we've seen in 'real', but not in a zoo. That's how we should see animals: living their wildlives in peace.
I remember once I was having a walk close to a natural park and I saw a quail followed by her little quails, being in a hurry for hiding inside some bushes. I was looking at the scene and thinkin': "Oh! how cute..." when suddenly a 'thing' fell from the sky like a missile out of nowhere, trying to get the quail... It was a falcon! Fortunately (for the quail) the falcon failed and it didn't get its lunch.
I remember I just kept standing there, holding my camera (I hadn't even time to take a pic, it happened in very few seconds) and being like...
Simple fun and interesting story.
I don't have any story about meeting with a specific animal. But recently, though I don't have them as pet at home, cats really see me friendly since I greet them with a sweet smile face. lol....
Thanks for your comment Dara! I am already your friend)))
Priviet Audrey, I have seen the giraffe, that tall animal with an extremely long neck.We are an African country, that is why we have it there beside other mammals. I like riding the giraffe. Audrey, could be one of your friends?
