As a matter of fact, I want to give a suggestion here. Please share your opinion on it.
There is a part in here where we can leave our "status". But I think these statuses are not seen as they should be. I think one gives status when he/she really needs to say something to others. So it needs to be seen.
OK. I think it would be good/fun/interesting/beneficial/... to have a "Status Board", here on MyEC. There you can see others' statuses, and you can be heard! What's your idea?

Thanks Mr. Essberger for your comment. I do know about what you mentioned. I am saying that for example, on the home page, we can see a part that shows "forum", where we can see the discussions. But there is no such part where we can see members' statuses. Usually few people see and pay attention to others' statuses. Just in case a person is important to someone, he/she may look forward to whatever related to that person including their statuses.
But when someone writes a status, he/she may be in not a good mood. So they will be much happier if others pay attention to them and pass a few inspiring words to them.
You may say that there are other ways like blogging or adding a discussion; but a status is just a few words while blog needs to be at least a paragraph (while some of blogs are not like this); or a discussion may need to be more general than a personal status.
That's my point.

Zahra: When you update your status it shows up on the home page in the "Latest Activity" screen under "News | Everything". The same is true of most things you do, such as commenting, adding posts etc. Of course, it also shows up on your page under "Latest Activity". If you want to give it more prominence, you might want to move it to the top of your page instead of half-way down your sidebar.
