Why do people lie? To increase their sense of importance, to escape punishment, to gain an end that would otherwise be denied them, out of long-standing habit, or sometimes because they actually do not know the difference between fact and fancy. There could be more common reason for falsification. Lying seems to be an integral weakness of moral character – I doubt that few human beings would be so brash as to claim that they have never in their lives told at least a partial untruth. It is certainly true that animals seem somewhat more honest than human, may be because they are less gifted mentally.
If lying is a prevalent and all too human phenomenon, there would of course be a number of interesting words to describe different types of liars.
Let us pretend (not to get personal, but only to help you because personally involved in the ideas and words) that you are liar.

3. You are on date with your GF/BF and he/she is waiting for you in restaurant. You reached an hour late. How will you explain by choosing one of them?
A. I woke up late.
B. On way, petrol emptied then car tire puncture and nearly into an accident.
C. I was ready to leave then check mobile battery dead. It took me some time to recharge the battery.
D. Baby, I was buying flower/cards for you in the most expensive shop but it was closed and I’m so sorry for this.
E. I’ll tell the truth as a faithful lover.
4. It’s your Job interview and you reached late. The interviewer asked you for the reason. How will you answer by choosing one of them?
A. On the way a car splash dirt over me and I needed to change the clothes.
B. On the way a person asking me help regarding with this organisation product. I helped him.
C. I forget some of my documents at home; I returned back on the way.
D. I misguided by the company address and it took more time to get on this address.
E. I will tell the truth, whatever the reason.
5. Your Boss shows you his lame, pathetic hand drawing and asked your opinion. What will you answer one of them.
A. I’m touched! Never seen such a beautiful painting. You are next Michelangelo, Sir.
B. As it’s not my expertise area you should better ask an expert on this. Mr X. my partner is an expertise for this.
C. It can be better if you use these colours and then start giving him some suggestions.
D. Sir, you should honestly put this in art exhibition. You will be famous in one day.
E. I’ll tell the truth as I’m honest reviewers.
6. Your neighbour came for your accessories or any items he needed as market is very far. Your response will be?
A. Oh, I’m so sorry dear. It broke or finish just today.
B. Oh dear, I was just going market to purchase this.
C. Oh dear, I gave it last month to neighbour X.
D. I don’t have it.
E. I’m a good neighbour and always ready to help them.
7. You missed the wedding anniversary or your spouse birthday. Before you face anger, you might want to give one of explanation below.
A. I was busy in work darling. But I booked two seats in city’s finest restaurant.
B. Darling, I ordered a necklace or suit as a gift but it was not ready on time.
C. I was on the way and nearly into an accident then indulge in fight. Cops came and a long story.

B. Darling, I’m with my colleague/secretary/boss and we are having fun here. Kidding! You know I love you so much, please don’t be possessive.
C. My phone was in silent mode and inside the drawer. So could not receive it.
D. Darling, I’m right now in gift shop. Looking for you an expensive present. If you have any special choices tell me. Sure bring you at evening.
E. I will never do such a disguising thing and there is no need of this question.
9. You saw the local goon hurt the society person and you are an eye witness. Cop came to make you for an eye-witness. How will you handle this situation?
A. I forgot my eye glasses that day and cannot see without them.
B. You will go in cop station but there pretend not to recognise him.
C. You will go, identify the crime but in court refuse to recognise the goon.
D. Let me talk to my lawyer first then tell you.
E. I’m an honest civilian of country and I will do all support to maintain the law and order in society.
10. Your day in MyEc, with a new person, after chatting with ½ hour someone ask your Skype ID. How will you response?
A. What is Skype? Never heard of it.
B. I got few problems with Skype now. May be later?
C. I’m very shy to talk on Skype. May be you run away listening my horrible voice.
D. Wait! My sibling or parents calling me or I got telephone call. Need to go now.
E. I don’t see any problem in this. I would be honest.
