People in this month try to fast. fasting is obligatory for adults. fasting means no eating or drinking since before the down till sunset which in some countries it lasts 21 hours and even 22. this month lasts 29-30 days.Muslims are also instructed to refrain from sinful behavior that may negate the reward of fasting, such as false speech (insulting, backbiting, cursing, lying, etc.)
