How do you represent in your mother language the sound of these animals or actions?
I'll share some of them in my language (Spanish) and its equivalent in English...

A bird: Pío pío (Tweet)
A dog: Guau (Woof)
Knock on door: toc toc (Knock knock)
A clock: Tic toc (Tick tock)

Haha... some really curious, really. Thank you Ella! :)
Hi April!
Indeed. although the sounds are the same regardless the country I was curious to know how it's represented in each place. Btw, I'm also curious why your language has so many symbols on letters.
Really Tam!? Do Japanese roosters speak like that? :0
Well many sounds are different too, at least weird to my ear haha... thank you Tam for your reply :)
Hey Saba, thanks!
You're right, lucky animals, they can travel abroad and understand each other.
Hi Rys, of course it's worth, at least sort of interesting. As for the door knocking hmm.. maybe you represented it for a metal door more than a wooden one or any othr material lol... curious in any case.
I can also see that God is remembered when feeling surprised, in our case if that surprise is accompanied by scare or anger the expression becomes considerably harder like "¡Ostia p***!" or "¡me c*** en tu ...!"
Really Fizzi? Haven't you ever heard of 'Despacito'? I don't know how you got it! :o
Hehe.. yes Fizzi, I agree that laughing is particular in any person, and I see specially yours lol...!

Laughing: hehe muehuehuehe teee hehehe ahaqz <-- well this basically my laugh ..
Feel surprised: ha...... apa? (say what)

Sneezing: achoo
A kiss: muahs..
Cats: Meow
Eating: nyom nyom or nyam nyam
A bird: arrk.. arkk (crow)
A dog: woof..
Knock on door: same sound
A clock: same sound
Oi, Eatanis,
Fine and witty topic! Let me give it a try - here are some Polish expressions:
Laughter - for machos: Ho, ho, h"o; for ladies ha, ha, ha; girls's giggle: hi, hi, hi
Expressing surprise: Jezu = Jesus; Criste = Christ; na Boga = Oh, God!
Rooster: kukureekoo = cock a doodle do
Aneezing: Apsik = Achoo
A kiss: cmok [tsmok] = Mwah
Cat voice: miauuuuu = Meow
Eating: mniam mniam = Chomp
A bird; ćwierk, ćwierk [tsvierk tsvierk] = Tweet
A dog: Haw, haw = Woof/bow wow
Knock on the door: puk, puk = Knock, knock
A clock: tik, tak = Tick tock
It is worth noticing how these expressions sound very similar in different languages, after all "onomatopoeia" is nothing less than immitating the sound given by living things and items surrounding you,
Hi there!
Interesting topic! As I see cats in many languages can understand each other :)
Here is my contribution:
Laughing: Hahaha (Ha ha ha)
Feel surprised: Vaaay! (Oh my God!)
Rooster: Ghooghooli Ghoo (Cock a doodle do)
Sneezing: Hache (Achoo!)
A kiss: mach (Mwah)
Cats: Miaw (Meow)
Eating: kherech (yammyyammy)
A bird: jeek jeek (Tweet)
A dog: wag (Woof, woof)
Knock on the door: taq taq (Knock knock)
