Everybody has had a hero during their childhood. Someone who fights against evil at the expense of his life and miraculously will defeat the antagonist at the end of the movie or the book.
Now the real question is who is the greatest super villain among all of them, someone you secretly would have rooted to win? So which one Hannibal Lecter?, Joker?, Loki? Darth Vadar?

I'll certainly do. Right now i'm watching a movie so classic that the woman referred to her watch as a wrist chronometer!
hahaha how cool is that?! :D
very=]
Thanks for your categorical The Villains Hall of Fame!
Well, based on your reply, Psychos are my bag, and of all the names you mentioned here, Leatherface takes the cake. The way he wore that poor guy's mutilated skin like it was a Halloween mask, was just jim freakin' dandy!
Yes he does. 'Some people just want to watch the world burn...'-Alfred Pennyworth
P.S. Read the quote with a British accent;)
P.P.S. Now that I think about it, never mind, the accent, that is. No pressure! ;)
Can I read it with my 'messy accent' then?
My lil ears are not very used to the posh UK's accent :(
I was just teasing ;]. I said that 'cause Alfred is a British character. For the sake of authenticity! But as I said earlier, never mind:) Watch the movie, see for yourself;]
Oh so I really have to pick the most evil villain from a movie... Ugh
Okay, it's impossible to choose just one because there are also many diff types of villains! So I'm gonna divide them in 4 categories, and I'll pick 1 or 2 (or 3...) of each one:
1) The Monsters. This kind of villains come from a 'fantastic' world and/or they have 'super powers' (So, they are usually from horror, fantasy or sci-fi movies) From this category I'm gonna pick Freddy Krueger ("A Nightmare on Elm Street"), the computer HAL (from "2001: A Space Odyssey". HAL made me hate computers haha) and the aliens from 'The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (still I feel everyday that 'pod people' are among us!)
2) The Psychos. They are the bloodthirsty's kind of villains, and for this reason they can be more easily picked as the more evil ones. But they are just people with mental disorders. There are many very cruel and terrifying, but I'll pick the family from 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'
3) Supposedly 'normal' people. Okay I think this is my favorite kind of villains. They are supposedly 'normal' people, some even considered good people by their society, but in real they are wolves in sheep's clothing. No one suspects anything bad about them (because they know that "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist")
Here, my most favorite is the character played by Glenn Close in "Dangerous Liaisons". This character was a misstress of manipulation. Her great 'evil skill' was to make everybody do/think what she wanted but, at the same time, her 'victims' never realized that they were being manipulated.
4) Historical villains (biopics) There are so many villains in our real world... Definitely, they are the worst kind. I can't remember now any good biopic about a 'villain', but it comes to my mind characters like Nero or Caligula. I don't know if there is any movie about them, but there are some documentaries that can give you nightmares.
Still I haven't watched 'The Dark Knight', but I feel that Joker might deserve an 'award' as super villain as well...
And now, are you gonna pick the 'villainest of them all'?
Well, if your question were 'Who is the most evil villain', there are many options. But in this case, you're asking for a villian that you would like him/her to win... ugh, that's more complicated :S
