This is not a discussion*, I'm just "thinking out loud". Because still there are decent leaders in the world, so there is a little bit of that thing called "hope".

Uhm, I'm not sure if Sanders could have won because he's still seen like a politician with extreme left-wing ideologies (incredible as it may seem) and you know how much fear North American people feels for whatever that looks a little bit close to "Comunism" (just "left-wing" is already 'comunist' for them)
I really hope that resistance will bring something good. But I've also in mind the quote "Divide et impera." That's what people like Trump are trying to do.

Jeffrey, I don't think you're over-reacting. I also believe is as bad as it looks, or even worse (I compared Trump with Nero) And I also have the movie "V for Vendetta" in mind many times in the last years.

Don't you think there are honest people too? :)
You know? having reached this point in world's politics, now I don't care about right-wings, left-wings, or whatever-wing/color. The only thing that I want from a politician now it's just honesty and decency. Do you think we can find that in the DNA of a politician? Well... looking at people like José Mujica, I think still there is a hope :)

Thank you guys for your help and suggestions about the sentence of the picture. I just took it from the internet but I noticed that little grammar thing that I think it's wrong. But I can tell it's not a question; it's a firm statement: We can't improve any society if is not through education. So, I don't think Mujica was saying that as a question.
@Luci, yeah Mujica is like the dreamed politician (actually, is the only one I can say I admire) His work as president should be a role model to follow for every country. Wish you luck in January!

@Eva, well.. I couldn't say Donald Trump is 'unspoiled'. Actually is a big liar and probably nobody knows what he really thinks/wants. He's like a salesman... and a showman. So that's why he fits in that circus called "American politics".
But anyway, the thing is that we all know so many cases of bad politics that I thought it could be good to know there are good ones as well. I need to believe there's still a hope...
