We should always be thankful for waking up healthy and alive everyday. Sometimes, because of work and busy lifestyles we forget to appreciate the beautiful things around us or perhaps a simple gesture of a friend. What will happen when suddenly the Almighty told us that we will only have one day to live. What would you do?
I think, I could spend it with my family and close friends. I'll gonna treat them in a nice restaurant and I will give them something (or a token) that would remind them of me. Most importantly, I'll tell them how much I cherish and love them.
How about you? Your response would be highly appreciated!

Hi Anu,
Thanks for participating on this topic. You really had a point, and I clearly understood that. Maybe it's up to a person if he or she would remain positive during the last stay on earth. You made me think of your response though.... Keep safe : )
Hello Gabriel,
Very well said! Your answer was mind blowing... You exuded a perfect creation of God. Though you will express bitterness on HIM, somehow you'll think of deeds that would benefit all of your love ones and even the recipients of your precious organs. How lucky they are. I don't think you'll end up as a poor soul if God would make you an angel (because of your kindness and selflessness).
Thank you very much for participating on this topic. I really appreciate it. Wishing you blessings from above..... : )
Hi Robert!
This is a very ‘interesting’ question! Alas, I should have seen it much earlier! Well, you know, just recently I responded to our fellow member’s, *‘Just Jessa’, question which is similar in nature! I’d like to duplicate it here for you. (Sorry, bro!) However, I’ve done some minor changes, here and there, as that was written with a *woman in my mind! Of course, I can’t apply the same here, can I…? :-P
I’ll definitely lose, the very second I hear the “bad” news, my composure and start to scream at the top of my voice! I’ll raise my hands towards heaven and ask the ‘Creator’: “Why…? Why me…? What have I done to deserve this, blah, blah, blah, this is not fair!” etc.
After I’ve taken some time to mull it over, I think I’ll do the following THREE! (Because, she asked for only three things!)
First: I’ll phone, sms or e-mail all those whom I have harboured a grudge against for some time! I’ll seek their forgiveness for being unkind towards them in my words or deeds. Nevertheless, I won’t tell them what I’m going through for I want them to place a 'wreath' on my grave and whisper, “What a ‘lovely man’ he was!”
Two: As I don’t carry a ‘Donor Card’ for now, I’ll go straight to the party concerned and sign up the form giving the pledge to donate my organs! I want someone to see the beauty of this world through my EYES; to count how precious it is to ‘born again’ with every single beat of my HEART! I’d rather leave behind these organs in the hands of some NEEDY ones than taking along just to offer as food for the maggots. I want my recipients to stand in front of my tomb and say, “I didn’t get the chance to thank him in person, how unfortunate!”
Three: I’ll make a couple of ‘wills’, that 20% of my wealth to be given to ‘orphanages’ and ‘old folk homes’! I want the balance 80% to be equally divided among My Siblings. They were always there whenever I needed a shoulder to lean on and cry over! They’ve never failed to stretch their hands to my rescue whenever I fell! They walked beside me and stuck together through thick and thin. (Actually, no money can repay the 'sacrifices' they’ve made or the immense 'love' they’ve showered upon me!) As my final wish, I want them to inscribe this ‘line’ on my tombstone: “Here lies the 'Greatest Con Man' who Concealed His TEARS but Shared his SMILES!"
At last, once I’ve done the above three, I’ll go to a lonely place, lie down on the grass and begin to reminisce the path I’ve taken so far and thank the "Heavenly Father” for blessing me with such an abundant of beautiful things in my life!
Well, there goes the END of a poor soul...!
Just me,
~GS~
