I have been a member of this Club for about 8 months. Most ofmembers like and respect me. I have been featured for my activities. I chat seldom but when I enter the chatroom I don't want to be offended and neither do I want to see that someone offends people on the base of religion, color of skin or sex. It is my message to the administration. How to avoid it in the chat room? There is a man who tries to offend everyone there. His nick is BigBob. Please, help us get rid of him! EnglishClub has such good reputation that it is inadmissable for such individuals to spoil it! There are many members of the Club who will support this claim. Please, pay attention to that!

It is an unfortunate fact of life on the Internet that there will always be some unpleasant individuals. Members are encouraged to report boorish behavior. The best way to do that is to go to the member's page and click on the Report link at the bottom of the page, giving details about the complaint. The member BigBob was removed almost instantly when we received the report about him.
We also monitor activity ourselves and many members are removed whom you never know about.
Once again, if you are a regular member and wish to help, please do report any suspicious activity. We will check it out and if the report is well-founded the member will be banned.

Thanks, Shane! I am happy that you support me on this matter. I, too, think that administration should do something with that. So, I sent a report. We can always do it in the section "Report a Member"

I have also seen rudeness in the chatroom. It is impolite to ridicule and harrass people because of thier religion, nationality or even the standard of thier english. If someone does not agree with your viewpoint accept that we are all different and move on.
It is not only the person mentioned but others that display unacceptable behaviour. The English Club is an important on line resource for people that are not only interested in learning english but to teachers as well.
To enable The English Club to continue grow, moderators should monitor the behaviour of its members. If bad or unacceptable behaviour is discovered then membership to The English Club should be revoked.
