How is China depicted in your history textbooks?

I really wonder how is China depicted in your history textbooks. Do your history textbooks mention China? How is Chinese history written in your history books?

Positive or negative, I'd love to hear any statements from you! Thanks in advance~ ;-)

    China is a very great country and long history, actually I know some China's Dinasty from game.
    I read konfucius book. And some christian organization like hudson taylor who tried to reach China.
    I'll go there someday!

    Actually, maybe I've told you that my ancestors is from china. My family name is Liaw.

    karbid, thank you for your comment. You know, Germany has been depicted a hard-working, love to learn, and strong nation in our testbook. My first loved foreign idol is also from Germany——Carl Marx, who had a nice beard~ [lol, he made me addicted to beards]

    I am sure in the future, China will be mentioned more in your history textbook~ hehehe. ;-)

    When I studied at school I remember to read hitory of China from a neutral point of view; dinasties, the Great Wall construction, mongol invasions, and I really liked its history and culture. Other thing is the criticism of some films; Tibet invasion, Taiwan... Or how many goberments also criticism to Chinese comunism and lack of freedom. Anyway nowadays I see China as a very worker people and competitive but,(in my opinion) I think the goverment should be more democratic. :)

    Hi dear Mickey

    I'm from Iran. China is not depicted in Iran history textbooks,perhaps because there wasn't any invasion between two countries but in our history textbooks we read a lot about Mongolia invasion to Iran.
