I learned plenty of words by heart but forgot them sooner, especially at the time of writing. It seems like earning handsome income, I am leading my life in poverty :). Many my so called best friend have left me for being poor in wealth and vocabulary. Someone told me that I could not be rich unless I was enriched in vocabulary. :DSo, please suggest me the best method to enhance my word power and also let me know how I can memorise them longer ? :)

You should remain confident without feeling any sort of fear.
That's the way you memorise new words.

My dearest bro,
I'm afraid I will disappoint you. :D
The BIGGEST problem is ....... I'm not that diligent. So, I only write when I like that word and I admit that it is not so often. :D I only wrote that in one sentence. For example,
...... "No one can beat the tenacity of you" .....
Tenacity was a new word to me. But, by writing this completely in a sentence, I will remember it without writing the meaning. I get this sentence from the dialogue in a movie.
If someone really want to enrich his/her vocabulary, I think this is also a good method. Just two things are, PATIENCE and DILIGENCE. ^_^

May I have honour to ask you two questions?
How many new words do you memorize in a day?
How many sentences do you write to memorize new words?
You have surely read my blog under title 'thank you dear thief' in which I mentioned that tip you suggested that all the useful vocabulary I noted down in my notebook had also been stolen.
Thank so much for your great suggestions.

Well Muskan some good words activate brain, but heavy words deactivate your brain. Exactly, without knowing parts of speech of new word, memorising it is not fruitful. By the way in old days, I used to write diary everyday in English. It really helped me learned new words and kept them in brain longer.
Thank you for the link and suggestion.

This site helped me, it has good algorithm to make you memorize new words. https://www.vocabulary.com/ I tried to use it in a sentence at the first time I learned the word that activate the brain and at least force it to use the word once in a right way. That makes first good memory. Along with this I used sticky notes on wall so whenever I saw the word I tried to recall meaning and did not remove note till I learned it very well.
Also writing stories using those words helped. Like when you learn 5 words write a story using all five of them.
A great tip is when you learn a new word always pay attention what part of speech is that word.
