    Let me explain for you Rahul.  First it is not funny. It is 'literary'. 'Tair kay jana hai', SWIMMING is a metaphor here. While we swim, we submerge ourselves, drown/dive in the water.  While one fall in love, and it is true live, one has to drown him/herself in 'love' and pass on to his/her destination crossing it. So poet here is using love metaphoring it with 'river of fire' because there are hardships and difficulties one has to face in true love affairs. And passing through the aspect of love is like 'swimming' through 'river of fire'.

    I hope now you understand it, it is not funny.

    This is a very famous Urdu shair, (it has become proverbial).  I have done a proverbial translation. So it is not funny at all.  It is real.

    If I were you.... I will write a letter before he goes. You know, I think this old style still always be a sweetest thing so maybe he wont forget you easily. Idk whether guys love letter or not, but for me, letter is a special thing

    If I were you I would ask him first, How does he feel about me. and just end it with "Oh?! me too, the same feeling to you" :)

    But I do agree with Risty to do some researches about your crush culture and their love life before making decision.

    Hi there, Jessie! I hope you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If you are a teenage girl, well, if I'm in that case I would prefer to stay silent about my feelings because it will surely past. If you are a right age to date and decide whether to love a foreign guy, why don't you try? I also have a certain fascination towards Korean guys, you know I'm a bit K-POP addict, and I really love Park Hyun Sik. :D

    You know, in the end, it is your happiness so just study our bits of advice and set these all aside and conclude what makes you happy.

    Btw, better study Korean culture, it will help you a lot.
