We do not have this vege in our country. At least I have not seen it. There is no question of esting.

Mishaikh, you are not alone, perhaps I have seen and eaten this veggie one or two times. In Persian we say Rivaas (ريواس)

The eatable part of Rhubarb is its stem (stalk) and it tastes sour somehow:
