This word EFFERVESCENT was in my mind since you gave the synonym BUBBLY, but I was not finding the way to fit it in your given clues that is why I tried other words like CHEERS, SPIRITED and BUOYANCY. Then as soon as I saw your fill in the gap sentence, I got assured that it is EFFERVESCENT.
