Well, we all happen to experience some confusing moments. But what really matters is our reaction. Some time ago I lived in Mississippi. It is one of the most concervative American states. On the one hand, people are not approved of wearing bikini on the beach, but on the other hand, there are no changing boothes there although there are enough fresh water showers. So, as a result, all people take those showers to wash off the salt water before getting into cars but there is no room to change. As we don't like to spoil our cars, we do it as following. We open a car door pretending to "hide" behind it while changing. Sure, you realize what it looks like but no one pays attention as we all do the same. So, one day my husband and I were changing that way while we were noticed by one couple we knew. They called us by names and we automatically turned back being naked. As we are uninhibited, we didn't even react. We started talking alltogether but I noticed some strange expression of their faces. So, we agreed to have a drink with them and all of us got into the car. While coming up to the bar, our friends said something like this:"Well, well, everything is Ok, but you know we can't enter the bar without wearing at least something. Will you put on at least your flip flops?" At last we realized we were naked! But a few drinks with our friends relived the tention and we have been laughing about that moment till now

Anyway, the most important is how you face an embarrasing moment. I do it in the most glamourous way I can. for instance:
After missing one step on the stairs:
After turning back thinkin' that someone said your name but *Oh, blush!* it was other person with your same name (damn common names):
But as I remember, I actually use spectacle but I only use it for reading or doing some stuff at my laptop, because I dont feel.comfortable using it for daily. One day when I was having a course time in a hurry, I didn't ask anyone where my class was because I already knew. So I took my steps in a fast way to the class and opened the door while the class had started. Everyone was staring at me and I smile. Then when I used my spectacle, I was quite surprise that it wasn't my class hahaha. So then I said sorry to the teacher and couldn't hide my wide smile and I could know they laughed at me after I came out of the class :D
