    Rent!

    You can take a house for rent but you can not take home for rent.

    A house is just a structure you sleep and eat in ... a home is where you live, love, and are surrounded by family, friends, and comforts, it's your retreat.

    from  grammar point of view house is used where you want to show or indicate any physical structure but if

    you want to indicate any place which have some emotional touch use home.

    for example -this is my house.(it shows a place where you live but no emotional attachment.)

                      this is my home.(it shows a place where you live but have emotional attachment also.)

    House & home

    A house is a home, a building or a structure; that is, it is a dwelling or a place for habitation by human beings (mankind). A home is a place for residenters or refugees. If it refers to a building, it should be as usual a place in which an individual or a family can have a rest for the safety and a storage for the personal property.

    A home is the place  of shelter  of compassion and love.

    A home can be a house but a house can never be a home....because a house can never offer happiness and love that a home can........aside from shelter.
