What is the importance of Dictionary?

Are you using dictionary in your daily life? it may be in the internet?

Which Dictionary book comes in your mind?

Dictionary is important to us, we can find things and learn the meaning of words especially those words that are not familiar to us and to understand the correct spelling and the ponunciation of each word. we will be able to increase our knowledge, along with our vocabulary.

I have a dictionary book before but I lost it somewhere so I'm using online dictionary.

Oxford English Dictionary is quite good but Meriam Webster is much better for me coz it also have example sentences :D

A Dictionary is the entrance door to another culture through language. So its importance is obvious.

Yes I use dictionary frequently. I have number of dictionaries in book form (Hard copies), and also use electronic dictionary (Franklin, Mariam etc) I also use on line dictionaries.

Oxfort, Franklin, Mariam etc.
