Let me give you an example. For instance two persons who are convicted of stealing one did it because he needs money for his kid's surgery but the other one had no need for money or at least didn't have enough reason. Now my question is that should we give them the same penalty or they should get diffrent punishments?

  • even both has reasons to steal even if it's for their family's sake or something else, they should get punishments as they did something that is against the law. if we accept every criminal's alibi why they committed a crime, then don't get surprised if most people will be a criminal. thats why its called wrong doings as it is wrong, so why do the wrong thing instead of doing good?

  • Dear Estains, thanks for your comment. In my opinion there must be some flexibility about rules and if we want to serve the justice we must take every thing into consideration.
  • Dear Samuel, thanks for your comment. So you think that the result is more important than the reason.
  • Hi Muhammad,I think even the most criminal person try to justify his or her action. So what do you think we should do? Considering the crime only without observing the person who has committed the crime doesn't seem so fair dies it?
  • I think justice doesn't understand about reasons but facts. Even the victim surely doesn't want to know why he has been stolen. As for the kid surgery, the government should be in charge of it.
  • Hi Setareh, I think that the theft is the theft, whatever are the reasons. There are other ways can be followed to resolve the social problems. Of course not including the theft. We must also think of the victims of the thefts. Thank you for sharing.

  • Interesting story and fair judging. Thanks for your comment.
    • BUT HOW CAN A CRIME IS JUSTIFIED BECAUSE EVERY WRONG DOER HAS A JUSTIFICATION IN HIS DEFFENCE ?
