I'm not sure if it is because my connection is via satellite or something else, but the chat will repost things that I posted earlier. Sometimes it is something I recently posted and sometimes it may be something I posted hours earlier.
Any idea? It doesn't matter which browser I use by the way. It happens with Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

Tech help thinks this is a browser conflict or a javascript issue. If javascript is disabled, blocked, or otherwise can't run on that page, some of the widgets will fail to load or you may have problems dragging features around. Sometimes a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R for Windows or Command+Shift+R for Mac) or checking that page out in a different browser does the trick. The first things to try are:

Thanks Tara. Since I originally posted the question, I discovered the echo may occur even when I am not connected to My EC. I disconnected the other day due to severe Thunderstorm activity. I was not logged into My EC at all. I was using QQ to talk with Mickey only because the satellite internet connection was dropping due to the storms. I had internet and then suddenly I didn't. Mickey informed me my posts from hours earlier were still posting in EC main. Noaslpls also left me a message on my page to that effect. That more or less confirmed it was a satellite internet issue. I am guessing there is an issue with the Viasat Satellite buffer. Just my best guess. It was much worse during that storm. Anyway, thnaks for checking into it.
