arguments

Whenever we wake up the next day we hear about new arguments, disagreements, conflicts. Look at every spot in the world and you will find them. Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Africa, America, Europe, even the Gulf area. What's going on? Arguments happen between the man and his wife- the neighbors but arguments sometimes seem to fly in the face of common sense. Do you agree?

  • Lol! ladies and gentlemen of the club, the founder cannot argue with that. Please, let me grab the opportunity of these ten days and the coming of Hajj, to say hello to our boss, Mr. Joseph Essberger.

  • Sorry. I can't argue with that :)
  • Asaid Mishaikh athna aala ataaleeg hagik. Shookran jazeelan ya Rosemary aala hathihe alidafa ajameela. Ana mabsoot. Thanks, Rosemary for a distinguished comment. Arguing for the sake of reaching right is good and not the other way round. It's true that arguing leaves hard feelings, as you mentioned in your outstanding point of view. It's enough that you supported your comment with that Hadeeth of Prophet Mohammed, (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I repeat, thank you, Rosemary.

In Islamic Culture there are many saying that ones should avoid argument coz it leads to no where . Prophet Mohammad  peace up on him said

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners."

the argument does not aim to reveal a truth  , it aims only to tease others  . People get hard feelings after the end of it  . As the arab say " the best way to win an argument is to avoid it "  For me myself i run away from argument  , sometimes i delete some of my comments online in many apps or programs  coz i have no time to go in a longer nonsense argument

  • Muhain tum sei itfag hain, White Knight. I mean I agree with you, to some extent. We should give ourselves a break from watching the news from time to time. The thing is, the news comes to us. Notice while you watch any program at the bottom line of your screen you see the line of the news. I mean news about everything, politics, sports, health, and many others. Besides, we cannot ignore what is happening to our close ones or neighbors, and friends. We have to worry about what happens to them. Thanks, White Knight.

Weird to say but watching too much news causes this tension , sticking to the news all the time , we have access of the news all the time in our hands , limiting it would effect your lifestyle towards betterment and lessen the tension .

  • Asante sana Molemane! How are you, Mole? I was on vacation. This what we call in Arabic, the eye of the mind. Thanks for your logical comment!

  • Ngar  sabhawtootaal, Jim_Brown. Me too, I agree with you. Ignoring the hard and difficult ones might lessen the severeness of the argument. When I insist on my opinion and the other opinion insists on his this is the problem. Thanks Jimmy.

    Hi Dara,

I agree some points with you. I think argument is one of the nature of human being, we can't not prevent it, some case you may think it's true but for other it can be false. I think the best way to solve this issue is try to ignore some argument which you don't want to do.

  • Kiya haal hain Mishaikh? Aj kon sa sabr hain? Who is patient today? This is our main problem. In the world of the smart phone and quick messages, people are racing to get to their goals. No one wants to wait or rest easy. People are racing all the time. If he or she wakes up, they are in a hurry to finish things quickly to get to their work. The speedometer of their dashboard cars goes to seventy or eighty kilometers per hour although they are inside the town. No one is patient, my dear faithful friend. That is why arguments are in everywhere. Thank you Mishaikh for adding a main factor to the discussion.
