Hello EC friends and others,
Good day to all of you!
Why all soul’s day is an occasion that most of the people are celebrating with their dead?
Wherein, if we are going to use some logic, it should be all dead’s day, because a thing under one’s grave doesn't have any soul. Isn’t it ironical?
Is this some kind of a misappropriate usage of terminologies?
Another, All Saint’s Day is the following day that looks like a continuation of the previous day, if we are going to use our common sense, do we really know why we are celebrating this kind of occasion? Or we are just another neighbor who by culture inheritance will just enjoy the moment of misappropriating usage of terminologies and without even thinking “what is the purpose of this and that?”
I don’t intent to offend someone or any religion, but I have read the Bible, there are no such things in it, in both old and new testament. Nor the slightest mention of these occasions. And don’t you think it is pointless to celebrate this because after death there is no knowledge, no love, no feelings, we are just a piece of meat 6 feet under. I don’t get it…
Now, I came to the conclusion that these occasions are nothing to do with religion.
This is my opinion, maybe you have yours, can you share those because I cannot claim that I am correct because I’m not seeing things FROM YOUR SIDE. Smile. :)

This is first time I hear about; all soul's day and all saint's day. In my religion, which is Islam, we don't have such days. And I am sure these days not in Christianity and not in Judaism as well. I think the celebration of these days is kind of traditional custom. Every culture has its traditional customs which make it a pearl among others cultures. But ,unfortunately, some times we be slaves to such customs. My best wishes for you.
