Top of Tower

Top of Tower

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.
The race began....
Honestly, no one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
'Oh, WAY too difficult!!'
'They will NEVER make it to the top.'
Or:
'Not a chance that they will succeed. T

Dear all, just a reminder. reading skills results into analyzing skills, helping us in achieving better success in whatever career we select.

Analysis of the thought under title:

  1. Up to a certain age (say 15), we are dependent on parents and society in general to make progress.
  2. It is expected, particularly if we are gaining academic education, that we take over our own development from others (parents).
  3. This requires great deal of understanding of self. This awareness is the responsibility of famil

Our World

Our World

Emmet fox -the contemporary writer- went to the restaurant for a meal when he had gone to America for the first time. He was waiting on the corner with this intention that he would be entertaining. But he saw that the waiter is not the slightest attention to him. Worst of all he observed that people were after him were sitting in front of plates full of food and eating!

He went sadly to the man who was sitting near the table and said: "It’s about twenty minutes that I si

Good morning (In India now) - Yesterday onward I started sharing Xplore Theory which is informal, in the sense that this theory is not an outcome of an academic exercise, but due to habit of Xplorations. (reading earlier blog on theory contents will connect readers properly with this one)

As kids, from day 1 of our birth we start our Xplorations..we try to learn small things. right from trying to hold any small object in hand to lift heavy objects, all happens through these xplorations..we enjoy

Hi, guys!

I stumbled on this painting recently. You know something? This is no ordinary painting! It is said that there are about 300 expressions (idioms, proverbs, phrases, etc.) hidden in it. I spotted a good few of them in less than a minute, as a matter of fact! Believe it or not, I was very much intrigued by the challenge so I started to make a list of the expressions that flashed on me. Guess what! I have 86 expressions on my list at this moment in time and it will grow, I think!

Now, I w

A man was polishing his new car.
His 6 years old son picked up a stone & scratched lines on the side of the car... In anger, the man took the child’s hand & hit it so many times, not realizing that he was using a wrench. At hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.
When the child saw his father, With painful eyes he asked:
“Dad when will my fingers grow back?”
Man was speechless and very much disappointed. He went back to car and kicked it hard. Devastated by his own ac

Dear all,

As committed in my earlier blog, I intend to share my invention, an informal theory `Xplore`. The aim is to help many to use this theory and achieve success in life. It is not copy righted as theory is based on `natural powers` bestowed by nature on human. This is because the theory is based on direct and indirect contributions by many since my birth till date, including books.  Here are some points as an extract of the theory. (A book is being written on this)

1. `Xplore` assumes ignora

Just to reinforce, reading for analysis is one of the most important skills any student or employee should possess to see better success in selected career. There thousands of books which can give us opportunity for this skill. Here is an analysis of the thought under title:

1. We often feel that there has to some positive change in our life.

2. This change can be taken as `difference`. difference can be positive or negative. example: a person smoking two cigarettes a day can go for 4 a day. this

My Grandfather

Grandparents make the world ... a little softer, a little kinder, and a little warmer.

My dear friends,

My grandfather was a lovely friend of mine. Since I was a child I spent most of my childhood days in my grandparents' place. I spent more time in my grandparents' house than in mine. My house and my grandparents' house were in the same neighborhood. Every day when everybody was busy with their daily life activities, my parents would leave me to my grandparents care. I love my grandfather the mos

*An Inspiration To Grow*

In His name2346487406?profile=original

Sky inspires me by her stars….

Stars inspire me by their light…

The light inspires me by its shine…

Shine inspires me by its beauty….

Beauty inspires me by its fact…

The fact inspires me to move…to start…

And that’s what the sky means to me…

Every single sign can be a set-out…

every single moment can be a miracle…

Every single breath IS a new chance…

The signs are vivid….it’s time to learn how to fly….

Blogging for a cause

Friends,

Blogging has some great powers..it can entertain, build knowledge and build friends. A thought just came `can we all think of blogging for a cause?

Many of us are busy in our own profession, at the same time many of us wish that things need to improve for people around us and we try to find opportunities where we can contribute. Blogging can help us a lot in (a) deciding issues to be taken up (b) trying to provide solutions through blogging. We cannot perhaps have any solution to financi

Exam Nerves

I have been an IESOL and IELTS examiner for over 2 years and invigilating up to 10 exams every week and often see terrible cases of exam nerves.  While some people do thrive on  a little pressure a small minority can not control the anxiety they feel on the day.  It is very important that you are ready to take the exam, very often I have candidates who are not at a level to take the exam.

I have seen candidates visibly shaking with nerves as they sit in front of me.  My reaction to this is to hav

It's hard to describe what it tastes like. The tree just bears fruit once a year. December is the time this fruit is ripe. I feel missing this fruit because I live far from where it is grown. It isn't available at any fruit stand or market.

This fruit is called wood apple. Locally, it is called 'kwut'.
