The story of a pencil.

The child was looking at his grandmother who was writing a letter. After a while, she asked her.

-Are you writing a story which happened to us? Is it a story for me?

The grandmother stopped writing, smiled and said to her grandson:

-Really I'm writing about you. But the most remarkable thing of all the words is the pencil I use. I would like when you grow up to become like this the curious child looked at the pencil but he didn't see anything special about it.

-It's the same with all the pencils

The smile

A smile doesn't cost anything, but it's so precious. It makes someone who accepts it rich without making poor the person who gives it.

It lasts only a moment but its memory is many times forever.

A smile rests a tired person gives courage to a disappointed one comforts the sad one, boosts the hopefulness and creates happiness in the house. And though cannot be borrowed, cannot be stolen, cannot be bought cannot be taken by force, because it's something that has value when it's given. And if one

Nobody Important

If people ask about me,

say nobody important

Just a friend, but not very fast

A companion not long last

A dream incomplete, a flower but dried,

A love, unconfessed and hide

He is an acquaint stranger, a relationship unknown

A reality but not known

He is a crazy lover,

Love has got him over.

Just make some excuses,

Tell them, a companion who if not near

Make me feel like recluses

If people ask about me,

Just make some excuses

My hobbies!

Hi! My hobbies are practicing the piano, going camping, taking a trip, taking photographs and studying English. If the weather is fine on a weekend, I go camping with my family. The campground we usually go to is Moguri in Seongyoup. Eating outdoors is very delicious. Looking up at the stars at night is also a pleasure. Most of all, it is great to talk with my family.

I like taking trips with my family. Jeju is a major tourist city. Every year they hole several festivals in Jeju, so we go there t

In any language there are basic rules the speaker or would be learner needs to understand before moving on to harder skills. English itself has basic rules that people need to follow for it to make sense to hearers and readers. Here are some basic English grammar rules that are easy to understand and easy to learn.

The more I listen to English old pop songs, the more my heart seems to be swept away by English. The more I learn English, the more my heart seems to be gripped by it. I tend to get into a slump easily; I forget English vocabulary, quit reading English books, and go back to my dull routine. so I need to control my lazy mind. Sometimes I ask myself : How am I supposed to live without English?, How am I supposed to enjoy my life without it? Some people may laugh at me, but no matter what they tell

Seeing myself in the past

How would you feel if you read your writing in a book which you found by chance?
How would you feel if you read the thing that you had never shown anybody?
How would you feel if you found your past self in there after so many years?

Reading it today, I feel around that part of the past. I am ashamed of myself because my earnest desire seems to be caught by someone. I think that everybody has also experienced the similar thing in your heart of hearts. In the distant future I may see myself of anoth

My Life Philosophy!

Whenevr I hit my arm or foot against something, the terrible pain reminds me that I am not special and I am just an ordinary person. People dream of living special lives like becoming a superstar. However, they soon realize that it is only a fantasy. Whenever I hear about someone passing away, I again realize the uncertainty of life. While we are alive, it is natural to experience all kinds of feelings like happiness, sadness, pain, anger, loneliness, despair, etc. Although we can not predict wh

Korean letters, 'Hangul'

During the Joseon Dynasty in Korea used Chinese characters to write. Chinese characters were difficult to learn. The people who worked and lived day by day did not think of learning Chinese characters, nor did they have a chance to learn them. King Sejong made letters that could be easily used by all people. King Sejong the Great (1418-1450), the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty, was sorry that the people could speak but could not understand writing, so in December of the 25th year of King Sejo

My letter from the past

This week I am on vacation but I don't have any special plans. Today I am at home all day long to clean my house. Tomorrow I will have lunch with my parents and watch movie at a theater with my friend in the evening. Every year at work there is a special time to write a letter to our future selves. Last Saturday I went to a work party with my coworkers. We played games, had dinner and chatted a lot. Most of all, writing myself a letter to open next year was a very heartfelt activity. And it was

As if killing a mosquito with a gun

This news was broadcasted about two years ago. An officer of the U.S army said in his talk that an ally of the U.S destroyed a small drone with a Patriot Air Defence missile. The price of a small drone was about 200 dollars. On the other hand, the price of a Patriot Air Defence missile was about three and a half million dollars. It cost seventeen thousand times as much as a small drone. It was a huge waste of money, wasn't it? It was as if killing a mosquito with a gun.
