Daddy Dearest. He is my friend, my mentor, my confidant, my everything. My dad is cool, calm and loving. He has sacrificed so much for my siblings and I that makes me wonder if, at all, he does anything for himself. My worries are his worries and my joy, his. He is my friend when I need someone to chat with, my counsellor when I'm in need of advice and my wallet when I'm in need of cash. Now he's grown old and grey, but the love increases each passing day that I always wonder, what would I do wit

Writing Challenge: Fathers

This is my father!

He is my father, very unsocial and carefree.  We are his two kids, a son and a daughter, me.  I know my father loves me more than he loves my brother.  I enjoy this privilege being belong to a daughter loving family.  I have pictures when I was a child, I see myself sometimes in his laps, sometime riding on him and giggling.  I remember whenever by brother teased me or snatched my toys or color pencils or refuse to do anything asked, I used to phone my father and he always used

 Introduction
There is no denying that education is of paramount importance. Therefore, it is normal to find that most countries, especially the developed ones, give more support and significance to the educational sector. Needless to say, education plays a key role in shaping the present as well as the future status of any nation. Formerly, educators were adopting the behaviorist approach to teaching and learning. This approach has been subjected to heavy criticism because it treats the s

Even, in the very first day we heard phone related advertisement in bangla..... I was just amazed. Anyway, this sort of things gave me comfort and made me less nervous in an unknown place.

It's just an attempt!

Hey, I am here after many days and I am a bit disappointed not  being able to travel anywhere for a long time. So, I think, it would be a ease if I try to look back...

When the wheels touched the ground, It was raining heavily. After final halt, every passengers wanted to rush out. I some how kept patience for a while to retrieve my baggage. Then, you know, I had to go through some routine works to get the chance to place my foot to move around.

I read this story quite a while ago, so I may not be very accurate in details. But the main idea is unchanged.I was really impressed by the story.

There lived a man, let him be called Waine. he was a kind-hearted man. Once he let in his house a wanderer to spend a night, for it was stormy and cold. The wanderer was old and in shabby clothes but still the man treated him with respect . In the morning, before going away, the wanderer gave the man a small wooden box.He said "I want to thank you for y

When we were kids traveling by train, we used to watch the trees from the train window thinking that we are staying in our positions while the trees are leaving us behind...........some of people still watch the trees from the window of the life\love train with the same eye of the kid inside them considering that their beloved is leaving them, but actually they are the one who leave!

What Should I Study?

How can you spend your time in the best way when you are trying to learn a new language?

Which of the four language skills are most important; Listening, Speaking, Reading or Writing?

First, let's look at how people acquire language after they are born.
Listening-  Children learn their language on their own from listening and they make little sounds as they hear others speak. They hear their own sounds and can try to copy the sounds others make.

Speaking-  After listening to everything that is sai

Life Lessons From A Joke

I want to share with you a joke which was sent to me by a friend. It was in my own language, so I had to translate it as it deemed fit. Thus, I am sorry if my translation is a bit weird. And I am sorry if this joke belongs to somebody. I don't mean to plagiarize!

One day, there was a bank robbery somewhere in the Capital City. The robbers shouted "Everyone! Lie down on the floor!. The money belongs to the bank but your life belongs to you!" Everyone did as instructed without much ado.

This is what

EXPRESSION OF SUMMER BY A SNOWMAN

Bees-a-buzz, kids that blow dandelion fuzz
And I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer.

2346815559?profile=original                         A drink in my hand, my snow up against the burning sand
Prob'ly getting gorgeously tanned in summer.

I'll finally see a summer breeze, blow away a winter storm.

Nothing has come so far within the reach of my writing.

I have to write the pains I feel.

I have to write the dreams living in my eyes.

I have to write about the tears not yet dropped.

Nothing has come so far within the reach of my writing.

I have to write about the journey I have to take.

I have to show you the desert of my thirst.

I have to write yet the nights I have passed separated.

Yet I have to tell you how much I cried but kept the hope.

Nothing has come so far within the reach of my writing.

An Old Tale

I read this story in a newspaper and decoded to share. And I recorded my reading it. So you can read and listen to the story.https://audioboo.fm/boos/2191892-an-old-tale

It happened in old times when parents chose marriage partners for their children without even asking for their agreement. Divorces were not allowed either.

There lived a nice girl in one village. She was good-looking, hard-working and sweet-tempered. But – oh, bad luck for her! – she came from a poor family.

Love doesn’t differ bet
