My Bangkok Excursion - Final

This is the final instalment of my blogs of the same title.

1. My Bangkok Excursion - Day 1

2. My Bangkok Excursion - Day 2

3. My Bangkok Excursion - Day 3

The next day, we went to the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. The market is only opened on weekends. It's a popular area for tourists and locals alike. It's a bit far from the Bangkok City Centre. We had to take the MRT and then a subway to reach there. The market is really big. If you don't really take note of your surrounding, you will find you

The bridge story:
There was a big river, runs through the town, over the river bridge remains open most of the time, and the ships can cross, but it closes at other times, in order to pass trains on time.

The responsible worker for the opening and closing dates of the bridge used to accompany his only son sometimes to play in the middle of nature, while he is sitting in a booth high. To close the bridge in a timely manner in order to allow train crossing.
One day, as he sat, came a signal refers t

Good afternoon.

The reason for typing this blog is a very tragic one. A very close member of my family died today. Besides all feelings of sorrows and sadness that we all had and have and will have inside, I came to the thought that everything must be in time in our life.

How come that people who were very dearest to us heard sweet and warm words not as often as it should be? And only when we lose them physically without any change of returning back to this world, we realize that we could do thi

An old man

Hardly could walk

 One fine winter morning

Just walked into with a very slow pace

Wearing a raged old black shabby coat

But from the very first sight

I sensed something!

I followed his pace and caught him

A tall, once very handsome, fair old man

was just in front of a little girl

What was in his those deep black eyes?

eagerness or struggle!

What was in his those deep light blue eyes

shame or struggle to hold his last breathe!

An old man with a shabby old coat

was standing in front of me!

From the very first si

Oversmart People Don't Rock!!!

Yesterday I realized something weird. Yeah guys, I feel now like I am  part of some minority or somebody whose opinions are not typical for country I live in. I was surfing on the Internet, reading the articles. I guess we all do this but this time I decided to pay attention to the comments bellow the text, which were written by the random people. Guess what???!!! I got almost heart attack.

One thing is more than clear. Some people's self-confidence grew a lot thanks to the social media and anony

Did you hear that an angry Chinese passenger opened the emergency exit of a plane? That can be so unbelievable but really happened.

The plane was on the way to the runway, but the runway was so busy that the plane had to wait until it was allowed to use the runway - all the passengers had already been stuck on their seat without air conditioning for quite a while. Suddenly, a passenger unfastened his seat belt and went to open the emergency exit (door).  The passenger was arrested for his abrupt

GIRL IN SCARF

I didn't write this.  A friend of mine sent from Iran.  I am blogging it here with her permission.

“What goes through your mind as you sit there looking at me? Well, I can tell from your look that you think I’m so oppressed, but I don’t need  you to liberate me.  My head is not bare, and you can’t see my covered hair, so you sit there and you stare, and you judge me with your glare. You’re sure I’m in despair, but are you not aware, under this scarf that I wear I have feelings, and I do care how

Your Loyal Wife

Your Loyal Wife

Stolen sweet thoughts, miserable weird mood,

on the table your keys, in the fridge your food.

Clocks is ticking backwards but life goes on,

things will never be the same when you are gone.

Your smell is still around, your shadow next to me,

our future is just past, nothing was meant to be.

My tears lost salty taste, reality is forever blurred,

Why those bad ones are always happy and nice are hurt?

Only warm shower can wash away all my sorrow,

"Relax, girl, there is new beginning, new tomor

Enjoying an afternoon in the concrete jungle, in a corner of the crowded Thamrin street, strain of music anesthetized my ear and mind for a moment.

Hmmmmm..... almost every day I spent the late afternoon at this cafe, waiting for the traffic jam to unravel.

Jakarta,.... crowded road, for suburban people like me it's better to find a nice and comfortable shelter before I struggle to reach home....

Light bulbs entertaining......Jakarta becomes a city of light when the night comes

"What am I to you"

I love eating, but will drag my feet, and hand, and every organs in my body to do any cooking. Sometimes, I do wonder how do I survived having eaten some of my so called 'home cooked' dishes. Anyway, I tried my hardest to search, well more like rummage, through my very limited knowledge of dishes and came up with this recipe.

It's a very simple recipe, and unfortunately not limited to holiday season. I chose this recipe because it's simple, and the ingredients, I hope easily available to everyone
