Survivor tree!! :D

The idea or rather the sign came to my thoughts spontaneously when I was reading setareh’s comment on my blog “My balcony garden” before finishing the post, I found that our stories are enormously similar. In other words, she inspired me! So I told myself why not share mine here.. Really I'm sorry for your fig tree, by the way me too, I missed a tree like you do, I have the same souvenir but it concerns
a grapefruit tree.

When I was approximately 5 years old we had a grapefruit sapling in our sm

Be a good egg!

Becha you're saying, "Yeah, right. Only in a parallel universe." And you're right! But think about it: You're a beautiful vase, a nice glass of wine or just a simple egg! Hey! Hey! Don't giggle. Let me finish. That hammer, that brick or that baseball bat represents all the problems, concerns or anxieties in your life. And you have to deal with them one way or another. Are you gonna give up and shatter into a million pieces or are you gonna 'kick it in the a**'?

P.S. A "good egg" is an expression.

It is not as easy as you may think because this idiom may mean different things depending on a noun following it. Of course I am not going to keep you in the dark and will explain you a few uses of this expression.

to be up to something/tricks/mischief - to plan some unexpected action we shouldn't do.

to be up to high doh - to feel nervous, to worry.

Talking about the stock market, the first thing may come to minds is easy money some people get in stock markets. But this is only one side of the coin. The stock business can be risky, too; and you may lose your money all of a sudden. To be a successful investor, you should have a good knowledge of stock business or you can simply hire a stockbroker. I’ve never been to the stock market before. But as a learner of English, I’d like to learn some stock market vocabularies and share them with you,

Teacher Expector gave this challenge..And it made me crazy…: to correct mitran..lol…I wonder…why he didn’t use these words : to correct mitran’s mistake. If he used like that then nothing happens. Now, because of him…I will understand the word “correct mitran” with another meaning.

(“to correct” is : to repair, to fix.)

I love my face, body, skin…I love all. Although those are not perfect. But I accept it. Sometimes, I look at the mirror and find out…  I have a pretty face lol..lol

MY STORY WITH ENGLISH

My first contact with English was in my middle school. I had been taught by a wonderful teacher by whom I was deeply inspired. I adored her fluency and tuneful pronunciation to the extent that the passion of being an English teacher had dribbled in me.

I worked hard to learn English Grammar step by step. However, a problem hindered me. Despite the fact that I had excellent marks and got involved in some internal competitions, I was still unable to speak Engli

You Are Not an Accident

I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born. Isaiah 44:2a (CEV)

God doesn't play dice. Albert Einstein

You are not an accident. Your birth was no mistake or mishap, and your life is no fluke of nature. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it. Long before you were conceived by your parents, you were conceived in the mind of God. He thought of you first. It is not fate, nor ch

Yes, we encourage you to help (to) correct each other. I hope you'll agree it's worth it!

When you try to correct each other/one another, you should make sure you really know the ropes. Leave what you aren't sure about uncorrected, for example, if you're not sure about 'part of something', then don't assume the sentence 'Making mistakes is part of learning' is incorrect.

I suggest you look it up in a dictionary if you're not sure about a collocation, a word or an idiom. Your English improves whil

2347273719?profile=originalMy dear friends! As I have nothing to do while my wife is so busy swearing Russian at the construction workers repairing our Kiev apartment, I have decided to post a grammar test using Tanya’s materials. Every child loves birthday party and presents, so I always have something up my sleeves to catch my kids off guard. Once we were on a trip; it was their birthday but it seemed like they had forgotten it. So  when we came back from sightseeing  I asked my sister to take them to yard and keep them busy, then my husband and I went to a confectionery and bought some balloons, a birthday cake, candles and of course presents . I will never forget their happy face as soon as they entered the room.

I bet nobody is really happy to be corrected, even though they know it's helpful in improving their English.

Sure, I'm no exception - it can be so frustrating when I know somebody has corrected me. I've been learning English since I was little, and I'm the blog moderator of MyEC, a well-known English learning and teaching website. Can you imagine how frustrated or disappointed I was when I knew I was still making mistakes?

"No, no - I'm supposed to speak fluent English and my English writing shou

6.36 p.m.

I was driving . I stopped at the red signal . There was nothing to do then I  looked at green grass along a road moving like strong waves in the sea . Trees were been shaking by the strong wind . The sky was grey . I was waiting for green traffic light . My car moved after the green light shone . Suddenly it rained . After the rain , I saw the first rainbow at 6.36 pm . It was 167 days of 2016 till the first rainbow showed up here .

That was the perfect 180 degree rainbo
