Hello EC! as Luci (our blue-thinker… :)) asked fellow members to join her challenge, which for me is really positive, it’s a chance for us to see other folks life with a very particular topic-our hot beverages name it coffee, hot choco, tea, etc. etc. It’s my pleasure to impart you guys what makes me energize and feel refresh (yes! Refreshing tho it’s hot!)… from morning up to late night, I never consider myself as addicted to any of those because I can drink 10 cups a day and I can also not dri
Chicken Stew with Coconut Milk
One of the popular traditional dishes in my country is the Chicken Stew or ‘Ginataang Manok’ in my local language. It’s basically chicken which is chopped in small pieces, and sauted in garlic, onions and ginger then boiled in water. It’s added with lots of ingredients such as raw (green one) papaya, monggo beans and malunggay (moringa) leaves - experts say they are an anti-cancer green-leafy vegetable. The dish wouldn’t be complete without the main ingredient - the
Welcome to my first ever writing challenge! I’ve been a fan of this activity since the day I became a member of our club as well as joined to countless of its versions. Many members have shown their initiative by coming up different topics to join with and improve our writing skills in a fun and engaging ways. It would be unfair as your video moderator if I’m not going to share a slice of my cake with you.
If my memory serves me right, we had this type of challenge before, but that was ages ago.
My dear friends! By now, I have been a member of EC for a little more than a year and I'd like to say you have become a part of my life. Every morning I wake up thinking about you: whose stories to correct, whose questions to answer, what else to propose you and not to forget to greet or congratulate you on the weekend or other special occasions. I don't know if you learned anything from me, but I do know that I have learned much from you. I am so happy to have such great experience! But now, I
Hello! This is my favourite mug. I use it to drink chocolate. I am a chocoholic like Luci said. :D Besides, I don’t drink coffee because caffeine makes me feel awful (trembling, headache, etc). I drink tea sometimes but in a simple cup which also use my parents.
But this is MY mug. No one else drinks in this mug except me. And it is the perfect mug to drink chocolate. But it was not so easy to buy it. One day, while I was shopping in a super market I saw this mug and I loved it from the first mom
I prefer the content to the container (applicable to persons too) so I,m not so keen on mugs but what it´s inside, plus no one has ever given me any :/
These are the cups I usually take for my very first activity in the day after washing and dressing up, yes I need this 'gasoline' to start working every day and yes, you have read well... 'every' so, for all those who haven´t already started to work, my advice is... choose correctly your job and think it twice jajaja... too late f
She looks back over her shoulder. It's night, and she is alone on the road. Her step is fast. She tries walking with hard steps.
Maybe someone who follows her might think to hear male steps.
The trees and bushes throw long shadows and sometimes, she can hear the bushes rustle.
It's cold and humid, and she freezes a little in her thin jacket.
She comes from a meeting with her friends, having prepared the wedding of her best friend.
She was late at the bus station, and she didn't get a cab.
Therefore s
Guys, let me invite you to my country. In this blog, I would like to share something little bit surprising, maybe interesting or totally unknown for some of you. Like you know, I come from Czech republic (in the past Czechoslovakia) and thanx to the fact that it is not such a big country, people usually know just some basic facts about it. Anyway, let me ask: Have you ever heard of Czech national heritage? I mean something we are really proud of! No? Ohhh… so in this case I would love to little
This is on the motivation of Luci's "Writing challenge: My cup of coffee
Coffee Mug -----My First Crush:
I had nothing to do at home, so I decided to re-set my closet. I was emptying the closet and putting ‘saris’ and other clothes separately. There I found a cardboard box on the upper shelf. I remembered it was the box in which I used to keep my teenage mementos. I got excited, grab the box and sat on my reading table forgetting all about setting of closet. As I opened the box, there I saw

Many media foresaw the victory of Mrs. Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S. presidential election but Mr. Donald Trump won. Why did they fall short of expectations? A few Japanese journalists foresaw Mr. Donald Trump would win this election and the one of them said an interesting thing.
He said "I was sure that Mr. Donald Trump would win this election last December because he was saying about American's real intention which they couldn't say but wanted to say. For example, economic gap and immigratio
Have you ever missed doing something as if it’s the first time? Okay, I’m not insinuating to talk naughty here. :P What I meant is the idea of performing an activity in its simplest, basic form particularly in learning a language such as English.
This blog has reminded me about our idiom for today. Yes, you’re right! It’s ‘back to basics’! What does this idiom mean? According to Freedictionary.com, ‘back to basics’ means to return to basic instruction; or start the learning process over again.

Morning all. Today I want to discuss the importance about how healthy you are by determining your sleep pattern. I am a coffee and tea addict no wonder sometimes I have insomnia from time to time, playing FB games especially hidden objects. I also typing and preparing Ppt for my next week lesson in a midwife college. Top of it I try to save some money because I want to pursue my next goal: a master course in Melbourne with my son.
With all those thoughts running in my head make my brain and mind
This story which I have heard once in Arabic, am writing it here with a lot of imagination, and I wish that you will like it.
Suddenly, I woke up from sleep, with a strong light fogging my vision, I was amazed to see that light although the lamps were all closed, I looked at the clock, I can barely see its hand pointing to 3 am. Where is that light coming from, all what I was thinking about. I turned my head to look for my mobile, I was shocked to find half of my arm penetrating the wall, with a

Yes, this is called "To kill two birds with one stone" --I don't really like that much this idiom... I don't wanna kill any bird! :((
One of these little things that I can do everyday and makes me feel good/happy is to enjoy a good cup of coffee, tea or chocolate. I usually drink coffee early in the morning but, since I'm always late: I'm sorry Luci! I dont have time to take a pic of my coffee routine! :D
What I can really enjoy better is my tea time.
This is one of my fav mugs but, as you can se
Yes, 'managed to do something' means 'succeeded in doing somthing, especially something difficult'. If you say "I managed to write a blog yesterday", you mean you succeeded in writing a blog or were able to write a blog yesterday.
You can't say "I could write a blog yesterday", though, because 'could' is not used to talk about particular ability in the past (on one occasion).
You can say, however, "I could eat a whole cake when I was little" - 'could' can be used for general ability in the past
