Frankie Boyle is a comedian, but this piece is deadly serious. He says in blunt terms what people like Noam Chomsky have been trying to say for decades:
"Of course our governments are just trying to protect us from terror. In the same way that someone banging a hornets’ nest with a stick is trying to protect us from hornets" --- I liked that line! haha.... Sadly, it's so true... Thanks for sharing this article. I LOVE Noam Chomsky too, even if I always end up with a feeling of anguish and fear every time I read something from him :D
The 'eternal question' is always the same: 'what can we do to stop the attrocities commited by the major world's powers?' Yesterday I read an AMAZING Howard Zinn's speech from 1970 (read here by Matt Damon) and, even if it was written 45 years ago, I think it gives a pretty good idea of what can we do now. I call for a civil disobedience too! :D
