It's almost three years ago, I was chatting in another site. There one evening, I told '' I am going to have my snakes.'' Right after it, I felt, everybody stared at me! And, immediately I understood my fault. I did correction as '' Sorry, I was about to say snacks instead of snakes''. They understood and, I hope, you also get me! Though some people have snake (plural is snakes) as their snacks.
Around the globe there are some houses where windows have no grill protection, I mean, open windows. This scars me a lot. So, my friends, be careful to look out of it. Otherwise you may lose ( lose-lost-lost) your balance. But, if unfortunately, you lose it try to grip anything tightly, never loose your grip (loose-lose-loosen).
Yesterday, one of my little friends came to me. He was panting and gaping (base is gape). I asked '' Why are you panting and gaping did you come here running?'' He said '' Yes, I went to collect my shirt from the tailoring shop and then started running to save time. Along with it, you know, there is a big gap just in front of your house. So, I jumped to cross the gap''. I asked again '' Did you close your door-lock properly''? He told me '' Yes, I did it and I think, my house is pent''.
Dear friends, I really feel flattered getting comments from all of you, thanks a lot. I hope, you will keep reading and giving me more words. But, I am not fluttering, I know, I have to walk a long way. Thanks!

Snake snacks sound too bizarre :D :D :D But I had to admit sometimes those two words make learners stumbled.
Thanks, Smith, I am leaving to check them!
More similar words:
stake - stack - stock
spawn - sprawl - paw
course - coarse
pizza - piazza - plaza
"Flatter" may mean "to praise someone in order to please them", so I think it's possible for someone to say "Don't disturb me when I'm being flattered by them." In the sentence, the "flattered" doesn't mean "pleased".
Can I ask you about the different meaning?
Good question! The latter is natural, but the former is possible (with a different meaning, though).
Can I say 'I am being flattered or I am flattered'?
