The World's Biggest Problem: Lack Of Moral Education
Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Professors, Lawyers, Marketing Specialists, City Designers and so many specialists Universities, Colleges and Academies are producing today in the world. Number of people with higher degrees are increasing day by day. It's great! Because, our society needs more educated people. We can overcome our problems only through the education, therefore, we are moving towards the right path, because our educational system is developing day by day, along with, literacy percentage is increasing?
Sometimes, when I visit some places where rules must be followed strictly or watch news from around the world it oblige me to think on our educational system. Is this the influence of higher education? It's right that only education can help us live happily, peacefully, and with brotherhood, but which education is that? If that is the professional education then we are going up on it day by day, but at the same time our lives are going down.
Many great personalities talked many great words about education, but it seems, in this modern world it has totally changed. Robert Frost said that "Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." Which education Mr. Robert is talking about, because it has found that educated people are loosing their temper and their self-confidence more than others.
In today's world if a young man is asked "What is the meaning of life?" many will try to find the answer in Google, because this is what we learn in this modern techno world.:-)
Our moth utter some beautiful words like "This world is a family, and we all are the members of this beautiful family". We have a beautiful saying in India: "Hindu-Muslim, Sikh-Isai, aapas me hai bhai-bhai" which means all religions reside in India are brothers. But, our modern education system has made them saying only. We do many "peace talk", but it goes totally opposite while acting.
I Chin says, “When your inner world comes into order, your outer world will come into order”. And today, we are on the race to show our outer beauty that's why we are facing inner problems, like, anger, fear, depression, increased pressure, greed, etc.
My personal view on it is that, if universities, colleges and schools care much about moral education and also a special subject on it can be added, then there would be a great positive change in this beautiful world. Apart from that there could also be special positive classes for all citizens, somewhere at universities or special department for it can be made; and it is such a subject that we can't change our within in few months only, but it should be a long term for individual.
I'm very glad to see that nowadays many colleges and schools are adding moral study in their syllabus, and I wish it would bring a brighter change in the world.
At the end of this blog I would like to say:
Uniqueness is a great gift by God to us, each human on this world drama has his/her own character, and we can not change the world by changing any once character, but it can be changed if each individual starts changing the self. Self care is the world care, thus, change the self and the world will change automatically!Thank you so much for giving your precious time to read my view on the world's biggest problem!

Grenade, nuclear bomb, and other fatal weapons have been invented with greatest sense of humanity by scientists, haven't they? Besides, the business of these fatal weapons is shinning by leaps and pounds in these days so that all those impatient listeners may be perished. A question bore in mind, losing temper bring about losing life or losing life of beloved ones cause losing temper. Google can help us find the meaning of life, but it can't give you life of your beloved ones lost by the so called educated Scientists.

And, the idea of "notebook and pen" is great. I'm glad, I have this activity in my morals and it'd be great if we can make others do it through blogging.

Fascinating. I agree! I think humans change a lot around the time they enter post-secondary education. It's a good time to work on the self! Maybe students should be given some mandatory alone time at this age. Just a time to be silent and think. A notebook and a pen might be good tools to have during that period of silence.
We recently enrolled our son in an "alternative hockey league" where kids will also be taught morals, such as being a good neighbour, along with hockey skills. Let's see how it goes!
