Writing Challenge: My Story Behind the Picture

ABDUCTED WIFE

Dear Everyone,

When I saw her, I felt in love with her, I don’t know if this was right but I want her to be on my side.

She was the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen and I want her to be my queen. Her mother was the goddess of harvest and agriculture the reason why her beauty was always in bloom.

But I did something, which I don’t know if it was right or wrong; I abduct the girl and hide her on my home. Her mother became sad and harvest became bad.

When my brother heard about what I did, he sent his messenger to convince me to surrender my queen.

Because my brother was powerful I did what he was asking, but my queen was so hungry so I ask her to eat some pomegranate seed. She doesn’t know my trick that once she ate that seed she will be mine forever.

I really love her that’s the reason I did it to her.

Now she became the goddess of my world because I am the god of the underworld.

Wow, your story is pretty cool. Before I read the end I couldn't connect it with the mythology story.

Just for the information, because her mother was very sad they decided for Persephone to stay for six months in underworld and for the other six months in the real world. That's why ancient Greeks believed that when Persephone was in underworld they had bad weather (autumn/winter) but when she was in the normal world they had good weather (spring/summer). I love Greek mythology :)

That story is actually part of Greek Mythology.

what I did was I wrote in a point of view of the God of the underworld Hades :)

oh yeahhhhhhhhh..

Luci, See what I mean!!! This is exactly what I am talking about when I am passing by blogs once after one and I don't fine anything different in their blogs... Now, it's the first blog which personally I can find something new in it..

This is really a good writing and a successful plot.. I really like it..
