Writing Challenge : Fairy Tale Awards

   This is my first try in writing challenge. And I need to improve my English writing and reading a lot. I think I have made mistakes a lot on my grammar and my pronunciation also. I am not a native and my daily language is not English, so understand me. Here we go!

Category:   Most Innocent  / Hansel and Gretel

Hello...ladies and gentlemen
My name is Gretel and this is my brother, Hansel. I will give a speech. My brother has got a sore throat, so he cannot speak. He says sorry.

We would like to thank the fairy tale academy that has awarded us as the best innocent award
Thanks to all who have supported us: breadcrumbs, birds, moon, father, stepmother and cannibal granny.  

To father, thank you for searching us and you love us. We love you father.

To stepmother, you don’t like us and you have abandoned us in the forest, we still give you our gratitude to spend time to take care of our father and we are sorry that he has left you.

I think I know the reason why we accepted this award! Because we are children, most children are innocent. Am I right?

I think I don’t want to grow up so fast. Okay...okay .. I will continue my speech. Don’t look at me like that brother.
Because we are innocent, we ate the cake house, we never think how it can be built; because we are innocent, we can fool that granny cannibal. Look at us, we are little and we are always hungry. Any treats for us, this speech has made me hungry. Can we eat that food over there?
Thank you all, thank you...

I am hungry brother, let’s eat...

    Hi, Grace! Why do think your intonation and pronunciation are bad? I've listened your audio recording and I liked your way of speaking English. Keep up practise it!
