The Wicked Witch- Best Villain Award

How do I thank thee?  Let me count the ways.  First of all I am extremely happy that you have given me this accolade because if you had not, well I’m sure know what happened at Sleeping Beauty’s christening. Tsk tsk I just know you love to give me this award.  Anyway to continue, I truly am the best villain because I have the most consistent role in many of the these unfortunate fairy tales.  I am the wicked witch of Oz, the wicked witch of Snow White, the wicked witch of Hansel and Gretel, of Rapunzel etc.,etc.,etc!  But wherever I am I always bring excitement to the story.  Would you want to listen to the story of Princess Aurora walking around all day in her castle with her prince? Borinnng! I am the star that brings life to every story…the superstar villain!  What does being a villain mean?  If it means having the power to move a person to discover their talents and do noble deeds, virtues which otherwise would have stayed sleeping inside their uneventful lives, if it means inciting fear in the hearts of naughty, disobedient children to behave themselves and be good for once, if being a villain means being the badass person who would empower the good characters to be the best they can be, well you have found your Queen villain in me. Finally as a way to show that I truly am the best villain and to thank the Fairy Tale Academy for this award let me say these words from one of my alter ego character Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty “ Now shall you deal with me dear academy and all the powers of hell!”
