Helen opened the book, and started to read. She loved reading, it always made her forget about herself and move to another reality, not always a perfect one but a reality where she was just a watcher and she didn’t need to act. It made her feel safe and relaxed; she could spend some hours like that.

As she was reading, her thoughts were overwhelming and every day she would write down something: a phrase to describe each day. It was like a diary, but no one could understand it, only wonder.

Let’s have a look at it, now when she is not with us anymore we can read and see the feelings and emotions that were hidden from us for so long.

Day 1:  Dreams should be ethereal, so we can fly with them.

Day 25: “At times you don’t see how to keep going on

If you refuse to make your heart stone”.

Day 47: If one day I realize what I really want it’s gonna be too late to get back what I once had, coz guess what I once had was the thing I really wanted.

Day 63:  I follow my dreams I get scared sometimes

I get hurt a lot and I cheat at times

I see no reason to stay on track

If the whole life is one line in black…

Day 100:  …So when my heart longs for a silent evening spent alone far away from human jungles, I wish to think about my life and future… You only realize the value and importance of every single moment and emotion in your life at the time of loneliness, moments when you have a world around you, but not a single soul close to yours.

Day 176:   Some dreams should always remain just dreams, to make us feel what life is.

Day 231: The years are passing by so fast… Time takes everything and leaves us with sweet and bitter memories of past days. The phantom of past is fading away and all we can do is to look through the windows of old, abandoned houses and dream and imagine… each and every of us carries their own memories.

Day 299:  So many times we consider simple people to be insane, those who need little for happiness, we consider them crazy and weird, but we are the ones to be called insane, because we never notice those little things in our lives, those small insignificant but meantime very valuable things, that are able to make life better. Those might be insane, but they are blessed, gifted and happy…

Day 380:  I failed to keep all the greatest times endlessly going on, keep them on happening and making my life one big garden of roses… I failed to keep all the best people next to me and I might also fail to be great for people who loved me.

Day 450:   I realized one simple truth in this life: one should just live and let the things happen. We might have wishes and dreams and it is silly not to fight for them, but if we can’t succeed, there are still so many wonderful dreams to dream, so many awesome goals to achieve!!

Day 500:  The last day.

We are what we think and say. It’s up to you to decide who is Helen and what is her life about.
