WRITING CHALLENGE #17 ,THUMBS UP FOR "DA VINCI CODE"

"DA VINCI CODE" is a book full of mystery ,an ideal story for those who love the great adventures of history ,enigma,codes ,religion achives ...

[ Robert Langdon ,an eminent expert of symbols in "Harvard" is called in the night from" Louvre"after the murder of "Jacque Saunière" a gruesome spectacle around the corpse,a series of pictograms and a coded message.

Langdon and Sophie Neveu-clever cryptographer-police member,try to solve this enigma.

the first signes were around the famous painting of "Leonardo De Vinci "...they went trying tofind the truth .]

I read this book of 510 pages in 4 days ,i couldn't stop or take more time to finish it ,so impressive that i wanted to see the movie as soon as possible ,but after seeing it ,i notice some differences with the book .

I don't think i have describe it as i realy wanted ,but all i will add is that i advice all my friends to read it ,you can choose the language you prefere since it's translated in 35 diferent languages ,i have it in french ,and i can promiss you that you will like it .

Oh yes Atika! That was the best book I read that whole year and I waited for the movie for what seemed like forever. The movie was good. I did like the movie a lot, but the book was oh so much better. That is usually the way with books and movies.

Books with action and excitement are hard to put down especially when filled with mystery and surprises. Another of his books I read was called something like Angels and Demons I think. I found it fast paced too.

I have some more that have kept me up late top see what would happen next. I can tell you some of them if you are interested. Such books that are hard to put down are an easy way to make yourself read a lot of English. I think it is cheating a little to read the translation first, but it is OK to do to check your English if you are unsure. A dictionary was my best friend when I had to translate things into English for may language requirement.

I don't like this book. I believe real catholics don't love this book. BTW, I'm not a catholic... :)

Yes indeed Bob ,,the mystery and surprises let me read the book -non stop-,,i was completely inside it ,,really ,as if i was watching in live the progress of the events !!
I read it in french because i understand it very well ,,so i can go through the story ,,and feel it better ,,any way ,,plz tell me about other books ,, it will be great ,,

Yes indeed lot of religious arguments and ideas ,,but what is attracting is that we realy live the story while reading it ,,and of course i respect your opinion ,,thank you for the comment.

I have read this book before. It's really attractive and profound. According to the history and religion factor, it is read colorfully by many fans. But how? You could read it in four days! I am a reading lover too. See you !

Hi Anjana,the movie is very nice but i didn't like the difference with the book ,may be because i have read the book first, any way i like it soo much.
Yes indeed M.Adaway reading takes our imagination flying ...and traveling through differents dimentions .
