Greetings from Armenia!
I love the Olympic Games and the Winter Sports is one of my favourite events. My postcard is for the Olympic athletes all over the world, especially the Armenian ones. We don't usually have enough snow here so I assume that our participation in Vancouver will be modest. In order to be in good shape, our athletes have been training in the Czech Republic, Italy and Tsaghkadzor. I know that it's going to be hard for them to get high scores in the Games but I remember that Michael Jordan once said:" I've failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeeded".
Dear Srgey,Kristine, Ani-Matilda and Arsen: I wish you all the best! Be strong and believe in yourselves!
BTW:Finnaly we have a lot of snow in Armenia and I took this picture today from my window!
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for stoping by and reading my postcard.I promise you to take a nice photo again when we'll have snow here:-)))))))
Take care,
Ruzan
In the region where I live (Campania) in the winter snows only a few times ... especially in my town, where a good snowfall in the plains would be a rare event.
I'm not keen winter sports, so I have not followed events in Vancouver ... I hope that the team of your country has done well ... I like the photos you've shared about it. I don't know what place is that, but I see lots of snow. It's wonderful...I like it so much.
In Italy to see the snow like in that picture you have to go in the Alps or the Apennines, but in the winter.
Thank you for sharing.
Bye.

You are welcome!
Thank you so much for your nice comment. You are so kind. You are right about Olympics and English learners. We need years of practice and we should never give up:-)
Cheers,
Ruzan
What a nice quote of Jordan and also the postcard. I wish all the athletes be OK and accomplish what they want. Even though it is a competition, everybody might not be a medalist. However competing on behalf of a nation is a great honor.
Personally, What I have learned from Olympic is that all the athletes have been practicing for quite a long time and now they sow what they reaped. This shows I can not be a good English learner only by studying one or two years. It needs years of practice.
With kisses and hug,
Nafis
