How does writing on MyEC help you to connect with people?
First, I have to say that my particular finding of writing as a delightful way to learn and connect to other people from all around the world is a recent find, because for anyone who wants to write nicely it's demanding it has a satisfactory reading level, what I really didn't have sometime ago. How can we intend to write something if we have nothing in mind to base on? For me, It's just unthinkable you write with no reading background. Therefore, if you don't found out the reading pleasure in your routine yet, I advise you to start seeking for it right now. I swear you It'll worth finding it at the end if you devote yourself!
I think through writing activities besides we express our viewpoints about certain subject, we can both receive complements to our opinions as well as integrate the other's worldview. It's a give and take experience!
Since I started writing in MyEC blog I noticed how important is the relationship between the members in favour of an effective progress, a productive learning journey. Corrections, suggestions, likes and compliments are indeed great parameters for who is learning alone like me, so that I can know I'm on the right way to a good speaking or writing in the target language. So folks, I do hope also a lot of comments of you to come in all my upcoming posts. As a matter of fact, I need assessments to identify my weak and my strong points.
From the great experiences I had and keep on having here , I'd feature the EC Virtual Classroom ,place where tacher Hala J. M could support me in some grammatical lessons placed there with her valuable corrections and punctuations at the end of each lesson, the phonetic lessons by teacher Gabriel who made me start seeking to learn the "tricky" phonetic symbols and the most important, he made me begin enjoying learn them by vocalizing the phonems in some of his exercises. I have to confess the phonetic lessons of teacher Gabriel are an excellent bottom line to beginners come into the world of English phonology. His lessons really helped me to put in mind the English word's sounds in a very organised way to remember. After all, Gabriel is a dynamic online teacher! Lastly, I cannot let to mention one of the most creative site's admnistrators teacher Tara Benwell who her rich activity proposals makes me develop writing and critical sense in a foreign language through the section "Listen To News ", answering some discussion questions.
Writing in MyEC is a multi-faceted activity, because makes you know other people to share your thoughts, learn grammar lessons, rating and be rated in exercises, thus forming a rewarding way of connecting people .

Thanks Christian, I have enjoyed your wise words. It's so truly the saying you mention: "no pain no gain" when it comes to the language learning. Cheers!
Thanks a lot teacher!
@Daniel
Great! You discovered the main error and found the expression you were looking for. You should be very proud of yourself!
How can we intend to write something if we have nothing in mind to base it on?
Tip: I would remove "intend to" because it's not necessary. Here is a great article about "Plain Language". Scroll down to the definition: What is Plain Language? As you will see, it's best to keep your writing as plain and simple as possible.
Hi teacher Tara, in the sentence "How can we... if we don't have nothing in mind to ground?" I've wanted to say in a right way " How can we... If we have nothing in mind to base on?" Can I rewrite this sentence like that? Is it right? Do you understand it now? I think my unnoticed mistake was admit the double negative in the same sentence, what is strictly prohibited in the English grammar and the usage of the verb "to ground" for the sense which I have wanted to pass on the context, the sense of something to consolidate your writing skills - the reading skills. I await for your answers teacher.
Hi Daniel,
You have written some excellent advice about reading and writing. It is so true that learners must concentrate on reading if they want to become better writers. The same goes for speaking. I always tell learners that they MUST listen to English as often as they can. This is how babies learn to speak, and this is the best way to pick up a new language. Listen to English and read English as often as you can!
Re corrections: Can you spot a common error in this sentence? Also, I'm not sure about the usage of "to ground". What do you mean by that?
