Trying to communicate in a foreign language is not that easy. It can be cute, humiliating and sometimes it can be a disaster. But guess what? The technology always comes through. Thanks to a new translation device that could fit into your ear, the days of struggling to speak another language may be over. The Pilot will allow the user to understand one of several foreign languages via real-time in-ear translation. This app will let you speak the languages that you always wanted to learn but you were just too darn busy to do so. The languages include English, Italian, Spanish and French.

What a time to be alive!

  • Dear AG,

Did you even watch the video? It translates what you're saying into one of those five languages. Like an on-site and/or face-to-face interpreter. It's not like, what did you say? Subtitles? it's not like that. And Google Translate? Oh, don'e get me started! Oy vay!!!

  • I believe that if google translator is stil inconvenient with translation of long passages, so I guess we are still far from having such a technology in our hands sooner...

well, in all way it could be a nice idea.. I am not sure though, that if could substitute the need of learning..

    Well, thanks for sharing :O

  • Absolutely! It takes all the fun out of it, you know?

  • Intersting device! But I believe no pain, no gain. In order to learn a language we should learn word by word and technology just facilities this process, nothing much; right?
  • Anytime. It's an app, sweetie. So yes, you need an iPhone for using the Pilot.

  • Yup, here's the link:
