Aloha lovely EC people!
I'm having problems to load this site lately, so today is a lucky day for me.

Yesterday was the World Book Day. I wasn't able to come here to wish you a happy reading, but since today I could log in... well... Here it is! A VERY MERRY UNBOOKDAY TO YOU ALL!
So tell me... What book are you reading now?
And What was the last book you read? It was 'woah!' or it was 'meh'?
Maybe you didn't read any book lately? Oh so bad! But it's ok, I can fix that!
Here I share some sites for bookworms to download Free E-Books:

Comments
Gerardo!! so good to see you around! ^_^
haha that 'coincidence' is very cool but it's not that weird since, as you said, you're a bookworm too ;)
I'll check that book you suggest; I'm very curious about philosophy, even if it drives me 'crazy' too haha... Sometimes it gives me more questions than answers :D
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Mary, good to see you again. You´re not going to believe me, but right now I´m finishing my next blog, and guess what: It´s about the International book fair of Bogotá, very funny.
Another thing in common: our love for books.
The last book I read was "On liberty" by Jhon Stuart Mill, I recommend you. Although my girlfriend is a little worried because she says philosophy makes me crazy, LOL
Have a wonderful day, thanks for remind us the book day.
Estanis, I totally agree with that assertion but I better don't try to translate it; I don't wanna be banned haha... It must be a really interesting book btw, and it brings to my mind that situation you shared with us in that discussion (the treacherous worker) So I guess why you read that book :D
About the other book, it seems pretty interesting! I should read it too.
Being honest, I've never even tried to read 'El Quijote'... And I don't know anybody who actually read it :P
Eva! You helped me so much! You're my heroine! haha.. thanks to you (your 'trick') now I can load the site :)
I'm not sure how popular is the World Book Day in other countries, but it's a date to honour Cervantes (Quixote's writer) and Shakespeare, who both died on 23 April (as well as the birth and death's anniversary of several other prominent authors) That's why that date was picked as the World Book Day, and it was celebrated for the first time in Spain (Catalonia) So I hope it becomes popular in your place soon as well :)
Oh I know that feeling, when you read a really good book (you even feel sad when it finishes) and that makes difficult to 'move on' with other book. It's just like a relationship :D
It's also hard for me to read a very long text through a screen. Actually, still I haven't read any book on-line. I've listening to audio-books, but I don't really like that way either. Still I need a 'real book' for feeling comfortable reading; but I don't have anything against online books. At the end, the important thing is reading :)
Expector Smith, thanks for stopping by!
I personally prefer the 'real book' format, but I don't have anything against online books, or even audio-books. At the end, the important thing is to 'explore' the literary world :)
Hey Peppo! Yes, project Gutenberg is my fav one too!
I agree with you, for me is very hard to read a very long text in a screen because my eyes get tired. I prefer to sit comfortable with a book and a cup of tea. But I really like to have online books at hand to consult them from time to time. That's the good thing about this Internet times :)
Btw, you read very good books! And I go along with you again: Everyday is the world book day! :)
Hello Batuhan, well, "one man's meat is another man's poison". Let us know what are your 'passions' other time. Thanks for dropping by! :)
Hey Stranger, thanks for using the pronoun 'Queen' after my name haha... it feeds my ego :P
Bookmate... sounds very friendly, thanks for the info :D
Setareh, I didn't know that author (James Allen), so I looked him up on the internet and it seems very interesting! ("Philosophical writer known for his inspirational books and poetry and as a pioneer of the self-help movement") You made me curious about it now! :D
It seems super interesting, even if i'm not into self-help books at all. But is a very good thing to know about the pioneers, you can learn a lot. Thanks for the reference :)
AG, I'm glad you find my blog kind of useful :)
Thanks to you for reading and commenting!
Onee-chan! your comments always make me smile :)
Yes! who doesn't want free whatever! :D
It happens to me the same, still I need 'printed words' when is about reading a very long texts. But it's always good to have online books at hand too :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi dear MARY,,
Thank you for sharing the valuable sites. Free e-book, who don't want it?? LOL... But, I never read a book from any gadget now. In case I want to read e-book, I must print it first. :D
Wow, Mary..
This is a very nice and useful blog, and thank you very much for the useful sites...
I need to say that my work is based on continuous learning (Thank God). so I need to read and learn everyday... But unfortunately, I can't set a certain book to abide... Instead, I set a certain curriculum for myself, so I keep learning in this specific field... I found this way is better than reading books, as sometimes you could start a book then you discovered it is less than your expectations and so on..
Anyway, I am sure I will make a good benefit of the links that you shared. Thank you very much for them.
Dear Marry, first so many thanks for introducing such nice sites; I really need it. The last book i read was just a few weeks ago and its name is ' as a man thinketh' by James Allen. It is an amazing book and i really loved it. Thanks again.:D
thank you very much Queen Mary:)
I am using Bookmate, kinda online library, a lot of books, it is not free, but totally worth it:)
for buying real books I use flip.kz, local online bookstore #1
so, congratulations to you with World Book day:)
Hi Marry! Happy world book day!!!
Project Gutenberg is my favorite one! because it contains a lot of old literature. One of them is Kim by Rudyard Kipling I have been reading it. you know read from a screen could make our eyes sick so I manage it to print out every book I want to read. Next, I am going to get Oliver twist by Charles Dickens, Wish me luck! Talking about hard topic book, my friend sent me 'Wings of fire' by Arun Tiwari, I stopped reading that because I think I should be an engineering first to understand the book, haha!!
I love books because it could bring us to another part of the world, I can't imagine how is life without books. Thanks for sharing. For me, everyday is book day :D
By the way, do we really need all of the books in such an Internet time?
Great. Thanks for reminding us to appreciate the World Book Day.
I'm glad some of you really enjoyed the day - reading, reading, reading.
Sorry, nowadays, I tend to read on the Internet instead of reading books - I used to spend a lot of time reading in book stores or libraries, and money on buying books.
