Words that look or sound alike.

Yes, it is a very effective (base is effect) way to learn new words and remember them. And, If we don't practice regularly, its affect would not be good for our learning procedure.

There are some people who like to have processed food. Here, my suggestion is, people should try to know  the process of making. Anyway, do you know what procedure should I follow if I want to get a new passport?

I am not used to get dual sim in my cell phone. And even don't know who sells (base is sell) it or where. I think, I shall try to know. But, I prefer dwelling (base is dwell) between past and future. Where is your dwelling, is it in a suburb or downtown? Tell me in a nutshell, please. I hope, you know how hard the shell of a tortoise!

Believe me, I tasted snail this time. It was tasty but was not tested (base is test) by any expert. How do you feel being an expatriate?

N.B. Can we write on this topic more and more? Would it be a duel among us?

@ Smith, I really appreciate, you always here to do corrections. Thanks a lot. It was a very important tips to learn.

  • Great!

It's a good idea to use different colours for different groups of confusing words - other members will know which group of words are often confused with each other.

By the way, I tried to fix two common grammar mistakes in the following sentences:

    1. "Anyway, do you know what procedure should I (I should) follow if I want to get a new passport?"

    2. "I am not used to get (gettingdual sim in my cell phone. "

Tips: You can say 'used to do something', but 'be used to something or doing something'. And, in a question, the normal word order should be reversed once, not twice, e.g. 'Do you know who I should ask?' -  You don't say 'Do you know who should I ask?'

Hope you get it, and hope other members will benefit from the corrections.
