Alice useful blog, you did a great job, you are cut above the rest :-)))))
thanks for sharing this good infirmation
Hi Paul thanks for the correction, I followed your lead and changed it to "the" which is the right word for my idiom and the context for which I had intended on using it for. English is my second Language and other than my native Language I can only speak two languages which is sad because I wish I knew more. Too many things to do and too little time, but that's a lame excuse, I will find time to learn other beautiful languages soon and I'll keep you posted! Thanks for passing by! :)
@ Setareh: Hi! I'm glad these are useful to you and hopefully you will know them like the back of your hand!
@Ehab Nassif : You're welcome!
@ Expector Smith: Wonderful to see you using the idioms so well, in fact I think when it comes to writing with idioms, you are the top gun, hands down! :)
Hi Elen, yes some of these are quite difficult but they are also common idioms on cut used by Native speakers so it is good to learn them and use them in conversations since idioms are informal and best used in conversations. Good luck! :)
Great use of all the idioms with 'cut'!
I hope you all can cut me some slack - I know I failed to comment on your blog or just cut corners. To cut a long story short, I'll try to do my best.
very useful
thank you
No need to write it Alice and it is more than i was expecting! :) By the way very difficult idioms... I need to use them every day to learn them!
Yes Elen! I did this for you, sorry I did not write that in there but it's for your request and sorry it took a while as I was really busy but here it is and I hope I did justice to your favor! :) Thanks for liking it!
AReality: That's a good head start on more of these "cut" idioms, hope you go further and make a blog out of it! :)
