Who Was She?

With a jolt I came into my senses! Was I dreaming? She was opening her heart to me. She came from nowhere in my life like a gust of wind, shattered entire of me. I was listening how she was confessing that she had always been looking for the one whom she had been loving from the eternity, and finally she had found him in me. I was looking at her with opened mouth. The silver sparkling light was falling at her face reflecting from my hairs.

“Oh it matters not at all to me, because my love is peculiarly out of the way,  my love for you is entirely heavenly without any physical involvement”.

She was talking and I was listening, thinking what exactly was going one. Who was she, who so boldly trying to break the shell around me? I extended my hand and tried to touch here. It was a jerk that shattered me.

This jerk was just the tipping point between heaven and world, between silence and life. I was quiet, rather spellbound, unable to speak. When we fall in love, silence speaks louder than any word. Silence is more valued than all voices. Isn’t a single honest pure tear, the tear that rolled down from my eyes, more precious than tons of smiles made of gold? It was in submission before the goddess of love who just opened her heart to me.

  • Thanks A738a (Aesha-correct me if my guess is wrong).

Changed as advised. I like it.

  • Not to cast aspersions on your post or anything but in your last paragraph "This jerk..." it makes my mind wonder toward one of the meaning of it as a really lame and foolish person, ergo, 'jerk'. As a friendly suggestion, you could have chosen jolt which has the same connotation.

    Great post though.

  • Thanks Elena and saba for liking the 'heavenly love story'

  • Beautiful Mish! I imagined the scene, this is what we call "platonic love", love in its essence. Really beautiful! Thanks my friend.

  • Nicely written! Thanks for sharing.

  • Yes Sophi it's a fiction about day dreaming, romance, so it is toxic.

  • Lynne & Peppo:
This just a piece of romantic fiction, tried to write quite a gap.
Thanks for visiting my blog and comments.

  • ahmm, no more trick, sir. As usual your words are beautiful. but i have a feeling that it must be something else but a woman in this earth.

  • I am sorry I didn't understand. Was it just a dream?
