Who would have thought that your finger length says something about your personality? :P

This is just one of these ‘funny and curious’ tests. Needless to say  this is like a silly personality game, and these kind of ‘guides’ don’t have any kind of psychological, physiological or just ‘logical’ basis. It's completely without foundation...
But is funny! :D

This is how it goes: This picture shows three different kind of hands, labeled A, B, and C.
Look at your left hand and find the one that most closely matches you.

Which letter are you? Here are the characteristics of each kind:

A Type:
THE CHARMING BUT PRAGMATIC ONE.

People who have a ring finger longer than the index finger tend to be very  charming!
A’s are the ones who can talk themselves out of just about any situation. Additionally, they’re aggressive and excellent problem solvers. They tend to be incredibly compassionate and are often scientists, engineers, soldiers, and crossword puzzle masters.

B Type:
THE CONFIDENT, GET-IT-DONE TYPE.

People with shorter ring fingers than index fingers are the self-confident, get-it-done types.
They love solitude in which to work and accomplish the things they need to do, but that doesn’t necessarily indicate introversion. They’re very goal oriented and don’t like to be disturbed. They appreciate what they have but often hunger for more.

C Type:
THE PEACENIK

C’s are the peace-loving conflict-avoiding types.
People with even ring and index finger length are well organized and want nothing but to get along with everyone. They are faithful in relationships, tender and caring partners, but beware: C’s have a fiery core that while suppressed in normal day-to-day activities can be dangerous if unleashed. They might be peaceniks, but please, stay on their good side.

Does this sound like you?

  • wow so true
    Type C btdubs=D

  • Lady Noor, thanks for the comment and the explanation. I just wanted to make clear that last line, where you said: 'not to believe everything told by science', stressing that you can trust in real serious Science, but there are also many so-called 'scientific' studies that don't have a real scientific basis and they can even be made for a simple 'propaganda' (so this can't be called 'science') Companies, mass media and politicians make use of 'manipulated' researches everyday, so it is very confusing and hard for people to know what to trust nowadays...

Gosh! Alice E.! You reached a new unexplored level! hahaha
Probably that's because you've an outstanding personality that needs more than one hand to express itself! :)

  • What if your left hand is an A and your right hand a B as is the case with mine?  I was probably born confused! :):):)

  • Gerardo, I'm sure you've lot of charm too! :)

    @Lady Noor
Woah, you know a lot about genetics and hands haha
Science uses to be accurate and precise, but you can also find tons of researches that claim to be 'scientists' but it's just lot of crap without any serious foundation. For this reason is always very important to know who made that research, who supports it and how is financed, so we'd know whether it's a real serious thing or just a kind of 'propaganda' (there is a dark business where companies pay so-called 'scientists' to make fake researches to support a project, product or idea)

So, one thing is to trust in Science and other thing is to believe whatever 'research' that you find in the internet.
You can also use the 'logic' for finding out what is more or less reliable. For instance, I can feel that this 'theory' you mentioned is not very 'scientific' and reliable just reading something like: 'males and females of type 'A' tend to be more promiscuous', or that depending on the shape of the hand, you are 'more faithful in love and show more fidelity'. I'm sorry, but I truly doubt that has to be with genetics or physiology, but psychology instead (background/experiences, education, values...)

But anyway, as I wrote in this blog post, this is NOT any Scientific or Psychological stuff to take seriously. It's just a kind of game. Just for fun :)

noaslpls, I didn't know either... I just thought that the 'feminine hand' was just the less hairy hahaha.

Glad to know that you broke the rules! I couldn't expect other thing from you ;)

  • Hmmm... I like reading Lady Noor's comment. I never know that there's 'feminine and masculine' hands. It's really a bit mind boggling to understand the whole thing. :D :D :D

As for me, I'm type C, and the explanation above is totally opposite of me. :D :D :D I'm one of the most disorganised person in this whole wide world. And my normal day-to-day is too dangerous, as dangerous as sleeping, in fact :D :D

  • Hi Mary, I am type "A"... charming I don´t know but pragmatic, without a doubt. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Okay so at the moment A and C are tied (Estanis is still looking at his hands, tho) And the 'weirdest' type of hands is the B type... Probably it means nothing at all, but I hope you all had some of fun with this :)

    THANK YOU ALL!
