Are you a parent or a teacher of an inattentive (I mean slacker) student? Anyway, if you are, what should we do?
1. Make a time table. Help them to follow it.
2. Try to make the lessons interesting instead of monotonous.
3. You may let your kid or student to draw a picture of a lake or an island before ask them to memorize the meaning of them.
4. Try to teach them with fun and play.
5. Make them more active.
6. Parents and teachers should spend some more extra time with them.
7. This sort of students want to go to washroom, drink water more frequently, take it easy!
8. Try not to lose your temper. Then, they would be more inattentive.
9. Give them colorful books to read.
10. Let them meet with the people from different walks of life. Tell them stories about successful and unsuccessful people.
11. You may bring them outside to show how would be a life without proper education/training and sufficient money!
N.B. If you are a slacker yourself, please leave this bad habit and try to be attentive!

Very helpful blog for me (who used to be a slacker and now ended up as the teacher of some slackers as well!) I will try to use the tips on my students. Thanks for sharing sis.
Do agree with your experience and philosophy.
Oh, you have drawn my attention towards how to teach a slacker. Hmm I teach a 3 years old girl and she is intelligent but she didn't pay attention to me while studying. It irritates me a lot and I lose my temper sometimes (I don't beat her but yea I scold her with soft tone). The steps you mentioned are worth appreciating dear. Thanks for a nice blog!!!
Well, over here, most parents and schools put much emphasis on examinations. So, less fun in the class rooms.
