What's Your SQ?

I am sure you have known IQ, EQ and FQ, but do you also know SQ? Giggling, let me tell you the secret.

SQ is short for Shape Quotient. Shape Quotient? I will explain it in Mickey's way.

The so-called SQ means your ability to control your body and your health. I'm healthy therefore I am; I am shaped therefore I am. There goes a Chinese saying, the body is the capital of revolution. It's the most primitive capital.

Nowadays, with the rapid development of human society, there are more and more people getting fat or under sub-health status. From other side, we can see that SQ is ignored by many people. To improve your SQ, above all, you have to interiorize the concept and its importance.

Love you, love your body. Even though inside beauty is the most beautiful, but a shaped body can't be ignored either. It does matter to not only your beauty but health. Eat healthy and practise regularly, and you'll be more healthy.

What's your SQ? ;-)

  • Thanks again for your generosity, Christian.

did I get your drift? Your method:

    on one nice website by following the lessons and tests;

    Sort out one's mail, kind of files and so forth;

    by dint of watching telly, read papers and comics...;

Never pursue two hares at the same time!

I think  can have a try and follow your practice.

    ;-)

  • hey, guy
what are you talking about? Jealous?
well, you are overwhelmed with grief
    according what I know
what I do you could to all of you!

I have learnt on one nice website by following the lessons and tests
step by step on their work guide program, that final!
I am very diligent, fascinated and organized, let's say so!
Also, I found spare time a lot.
The know-how is crucial to move forward.
Sort out one's mail, kind of files and so forth.
    Do you get my drift?
I mean ' in an orderly fashion'
Then, one day drifts into another (alas!)
I learn after a fashion ,for One minute everything is dandy, the next it all goes wrong.
    Quite a challenge lol!
by dint of watching telly, read papers and comics... blah_blah...
    It's hardly surprising, is it?

I hope everything's all right for you too.
a piece of advice? Will you?
this is not my business of course and make no mistake
because it's only for your own good.

Never pursue two hares at the same time!
    OK? got it?
you should carry on your international language.
    Don't give up! well done!
    It's up to you now!

I leave you now as I have to go to bed.

    Nice friendly blog indeed!
the best to both of you from the country of the smile.

  • Wow, Christian! I really appreciate your self-control ability and bravery. To learn a language is hard even at school, let alone by yourself. You are really really something! O.o I am jealous~ hehehe. Hat off!

Everyone has their own way to keep fit inside and outside. It doesnt have such a standard that everyone can follow. If it suits you and brings you good effects, then it is a nice way. Sis Bala, you practice is good, so is Christian's.

I am considering to learn a third language. But I am afraid... Can you give me some tips, Chrisitan?

    Thanks!

  • Oh Thank you Mr. Christian for ur valuable advise....

I wish I could follow u and be in ur shoes..Lol...

I do simple exercises which need just 10 min of my morning hrs....This i made it as a habit....

  • Hello,
I'm very touched by your kind words Mickey.
two years and nine months mickey of hard work on my own.

there is not mere chance, belief me!

    Bala,

about your satisfactory meals, I mean your hobby
    I dunno!
Whatever you think best but no fear of that happening for me.
I would not be in your shoes. lol! (arm, legs, restless, lazynes)
This is not my cup of tea! Not my way!
what suits me doesn't necessarily suit you!
As I attempted to explain to you
'each to his own' it's up to you!
if you're satified with your life, it's all good after all.
    That's final.
However to stay in the heart of the matter,
visibly there is a true societal problem that is obesity.
    Second .
Also, it is clear that it is not the good way to remain fit.
Nobody talked about diet whereas the answer is staring us in face.
Either you play sport or you're 'couch potato' and you'll make
a cock-up of your fitness trail plan for sure.
the only way to get round your painful sensation problem is without
any doubt ' to do some exercice ' . That helps prevent a lot of disease.
( either walking or cycling, or using lifetrail tools found in some public gardens).
    have you got it.

It goes without saying that it's mainly up to Mickey to guide you.
This is his topic and his skills I presume.
enjoy your meal and have a good health.

  • Sis Bala, I am sure you have a good SQ [and I can imagine how nice is your body, giggling~]

You must be flexible since you do yoga. Yoga is really something I like since I started to learn it when I was in the first year of 4 years' unversity life.

[I often answer others' question about my hobby with such a sentence: Eating and sleeping are my favorite sports. lol!]

    ;-) Enjoy your night.

  • Hey again, Christian!

Thanks for sharing with us your experience. I think I can bring in your method and your spirit to apply to my English learning. I do believe I need more practice so that I can become better.

English club is really something. It helps me a lot. And I have met quite a few nice friends just like you here. That's the extra gain that I didn't expect when I joined this club.

So you taught yourself English since two or three years ago?

  • Thanks for your Care Dear.......

So you mean we have to control and command our Mind to keep our Body fit, Am i right ? But you know my Favourite work is Being Lazy and my hobby is Eating......What to do ?? LOL

Okie, coming to the point, To keep myself Fit, I follow Fruit Fasting 15 days once....My intake will be only Fruits on that day....Please do not ask me abt my diet on the other 14 days...LOL................and I do exercises and simple Yoga everyday, which I am following it for the past 18 years atleast.....and the day when i feel lazy to do exercise, my arms and legs start paining and i feel restless.....

  • Thank you Mickey

    please call me 'Christian'

by dint of tapping on my keyboard so often in English I took the lead.

actually, this is for my own sake not to challenge.

Manage to get past the possible, even further is my hobby.
When there is a wish, there is a will.

I'm only a mere man, you know.

I started from scratch because one morning about two / three years past

I suddenly wanted to get rid of my frustrations due to my own ignorance of English.

Pretend to speak fluently, to be biker champion, get into different worlds to check it out
after getting the key to communicate.easily, with my new language .
For now I may develop new friendships to get knowledgeable even
if it is not the case. Pretend to be cultured among the smart set.
    by learning
you can truly have a lot of fun.

As you see thanks to bike we can hit two targets with one bullet,

    so go for it mate.

Read your native friend's e-mail, some comics,be listening to them, to BBC World News, talk to yourself imitating either Obama or your friend.

surf the net in English and you'll soon catch up on me.
I go cycling and sometimes I meet again with other adepts of biking like me
and so I got acquainted of one new friend whom I talk to fortnigtly.
This is not enough of course but better than nothing to practise.

Altogether, it's not nearly as difficult as I thought.
I make myself understood without problem but I'm far from speaking as easily as I write.
English Club have taught me a great deal too.
what about you Mickey? what about you fellow blogs members?

  • Dufo, you are interesting! ;-)

I think your English is much better than mine.

I like biking. [sitting behind, but not ride by myself, lazy me~ giggling.]

    Happy practice~
